This is just fantastic how Mocha Pro 2024 works. And can you make more tutorials on working with Mocha Pro and Blender?

We have a series planned for different hosts including Blender. In the meantime, Elizabeth uses Blender and Mocha Pro in this section of the recent livestream : kzbin.info4z9TYNIAWmM?si=Eu0jObL08A2DKsjJ&t=2898

@@BorisFXco Yes, thank you, I've seen the video. Elizabeth is excellent in Mocha Pro, but there was a shot with a piano that she, unfortunately, didn't have time to finish.

I've been learning syntheyes for 3D camera tracks, but I'm wondering: Is there a particular reason to learn 3D tracking in this vs syntheyes?
@kspmn5 ай бұрын
The Mocha Pro Camera Solver module uses the same Syntheyes engine itself, but as you can see it's a extremely simple module, with just a few options, fast and easy for quick turnarounds. Syntheyes on the other hand is a extremely robust and complex package for production level camera tracking and matchmoving tasks, so even sharing the same engine base both workflows are totally different. But having the option to use Syntheyes camera solver inside Mocha Pro, one of the best planar trackers out there is just a blessing! ✨

@kspmn absolutely nailed it. That is the correct answer.

I am big fan of boris fx. I hope in future add more big feather in mocha pro.
@BorisFXco5 ай бұрын
How big do you want it? At the moment you can manually add as much feather as you want using the Select Edge tool : borisfx.com/documentation/mocha/11.0.0/#_the_advanced_toolbar Or just keep adding using the + button in the Edge Properties window :D

If these videos are made for Davinci Resolve, it would be very helpful. A lot of us use Mocha pro along with Davinci.
@kspmn5 ай бұрын
You can easily get the same results inside Fusion page from Davinci Resolve... It already has a built in camera tracker, but you can use the OFX version of Mocha Pro, even the standalone, and export the same data to fusion to start compositing there... Hope that helps! 😅

Yes, true. We have some Fusion inside of Resolve tutorials on their way.
@arnavpatil86225 ай бұрын
@@kspmn Agreed. However, I am still learning Fusion as well. So, if the tutorials use Resolve, it will help me learn faster. Now I have to look at two different tutorials to do the same thing😅

@@BorisFXco That would be of great help. thank you!

The only way to use 3D track data in Resolve is via Fusion. We'll try to make it as straightforward as possible.

We've got host-specific tutorials coming for Resolve. I hope you like the Fusion page. Don't worry, we've made it easy!
