Borla ATAK Catback Install On My 2020 Mustang GT! *CRAZY GOOD* BORLA ATAK BETTER THAN CORSA EXTREME?

Hey guys! Thanks for tuning into another video, so for this video I FINALLY installed my Borla ATAK Catback Exhaust, and let me tell you it woke up that amazing coyote engine noise! I have this on my 2017 GT and it’s awesome. Much much louder in the flesh than on a phone or laptop..... yet quiet when you want it to be.

Yes! Definitely agree with you, it can be rowdy when you want it to be and loud and aggressive when you want it to be as well, overall great exhaust to have your mustang sounding mean and quiet to not piss off your neighbors haha

@@carlospalacios4520 mine is a performance pack manual and I have a Corsa Performance cold air intake as well. Up and down shifting in vigorous driving brings stupendous and theatrical noise. Music to my ears and insanely loud under WOT at over 3,000rpm. Awesome awesomeness I also have the S Type mufflers too. They make great music but after a month I put my hand back in my wallet and got the ATAKs

I have heard good things about the S-Types as well, but I enjoyed the loudness of the cross but I wanted that deep tone! and so loudness + deep town and growl = Borla ATAK's but I have the 6-speed PP1 as well, and let me tell you I put it up to the test if you've seen the other videos Ive posted!

If your just rubbing your car dry with a microfiber towel all your doing is scratching the heck out of the paint. Use a detail spray thats what they are made for so you don't rub dirt around the paint

I was super close to buying borla ataks but all my friends have borlas on there mustangs I wanted to be different so I went corsa xtremes. Can’t go wrong with either honestly

I have the Ataks myself. They're not as high pitched or trumpet sounding as the Corsas are at high rpms although the rasp is there. I wonder how it would sound if they had an h pipe setup for it.

Yeah I agree corsas tend to be a bit more high pitch, but I know that when you add headers and have the borla ATAK set up it’s pretty loud! I have seen people run these as catbacks but they get a roush x pipe to go with it. Regardless I think these wake up the car and add that amazing v8 sound haha

Great sound bro, I have the 2019 5.0 PP1 I have yet to install an exhaust..but I think this is the one. It has that V8 deep sound I’m looking for. Is this just the catback system? No x pipe or anything is it?

Hey man! Thanks, yea this is just the cat back system I purchased it from American Muscle, some people add an additional x pipe but I loved the way it came l, like you said it gives it such a deep sound and it’s a super easy install! I hope you purchase it and enjoy it!

@@adamlarkin2635 an axle back consists of the mufflers and tips. A cat back consists of the tips mufflers and the suit case resonator In the middle which is behind the Catalytic converter which is why it’s called a “cat back” and no not all cat backs comes with an x pipe some come with an H pipe

Car sounds awesome 😎 I have atak catback on my 2020 AT4 and 05 mustang gt. Best sounding mufflers for the coyotes 🔥🔥 All you need is some kooks LT headers and you will really have a bad azz exhaust 🇺🇸🇺🇸

@@carlospalacios4520 well it’s a daily for me, so it does get annoying after a while lol. Wish I had an active exhaust. From what I heard is that the touring is a lot less quieter but obviously has a better quality sound than stock but is a little louder than stock.

What's up Carlos. My only worry is that I wake up early in the morning like at 5 am while everyone is sleeping and scared if it will be super loud even with the valves closed on quiet. Do you have this issue or its only loud when you have the valves open?

Hey what’s up! And yeah I don’t have active exhaust so the valves are always open, and with a cold start that things is loud, I’ve turned it on a few times really early like 4 in the morning, and I didn’t get complains but to answer your question I don’t have the active exhaust so the valves are always open and it’s screams in the cold start, I’m sure with the closed valves it won’t be as loud but it’ll still be noticeable

I was able to get it from American Muscle!!! It was in special as well so I got a good deal on it! And the process was easy and I got it within 3 days !

I personally went with the ATAK because it was louder and more aggressive! I was looking to be loud so that’s why but the S-Type is still great! I just wanted to be obnoxious haha

Its great man! you don't get a drone at all you can make the exhaust be aggressive and loud and also be quiet you have complete control and I don't have active exhaust either ! Highly recommend it !

Nope it shouldn’t

It shouldn't the only way that it will void your warranty is if the exhaust causes for something else to be damaged that will affect the performance of the car, I recently had my car serviced and inspected by the dealership and the guys working there loved the exhaust and told me that ^
