Exhaust sounds so much better than stock. Also, a simple exhaust and intake will not increase HP at all. You can add all you want, but unless you tune your car, Lexus system will do absolutely nothing in terms of increased power. Many advise against aftermarket intakes on these as well. It may sound good, but HP and overall engine performance is typically better with the stock intake

I’m saying I have air intake system from HPS and the same borla exhaust system shown. There’s no horsepower gain from the stock 311 at least it doesn’t feel like it to me.

You're 100% correct, an axleback and CAI will make minimal gains on any dyno (maybe 1 or 2 %). These mods are primarily for looks and sound. Doing full exhaust, headers all the way back will result in some gains but the car will smell like gas and it won't pass inspection.
