@Satnick2000 Her name is Bonnie Georgiadis. She's not an actress. She was a mermaid at Weeki Wachee when "The Cruelest Sea of All" was filmed. She trained Martin on how to use the breathing tube for his awesome underwater scenes . She said he was gentleman. (But who didn't know that?) To thank her, he gave her a piece of jewelry that his father-in-law made. A little mermaid holding up a pearl. He's so sweet! :)

He looks to young for it to be Adam-12 (and not sure why he'd be wearing a formal suit in A-12 anyway), and yet it's not Route 66, either (since that didn't appear in color). But MM is just ADORABLE in that photo!!

I didn't watch the video as I have about every known photo of him, even some autographed pics. He was very nice when asked for autographs. I'm old and am a native Californian so I've met several dozen actors in my lifetime. But, without looking, perhaps the photo might be of him, as a teenager, in the film "Life with Father" in 1947. It's been colorized and he wore a suit. His characters name was John. Marty had been ill (I forget the disease, but it was something like polio or rheumatic fever maybe? Where the muscles stiffen). He took a year off after this movie to recuperate before going back to acting. I may have these facts a little skewed...but you can tell the disease left a lasting mark in Adam-12, how Marty carried his arm bent most scenes. Also check out the original 1950's dragnet episodes. I think it's titled "The Big Producer". Marty has a bit part where he's a high school kid (he's like 22 or 23 then but got a lot of parts because he looked so young) who gets caught buying and selling pornography.

I'm so sick of this BS rumor. The LGBT community always tried to spread rumors about any actor that was popular being gay. They want everyone to be gay. There were a lot of gay actors. Why make hetero actors gay too? Doesn't make sense and is stupid. My dad was at Fort Ord, CA with Marty. He was Marty's sergeant. He said Marty loved the ladies. And relax, females...this was before he married Judy. My dad told a story once where Marty got caught trying to sneak a girl on base. There were also rumors of Marty's infidelity while married to Judy but those are unfounded so I won't substantiate. But he was HARDLY gay. So go F yourself.

He wasn't gay. George Maharis, his CO-star on Route 66, is/was openly gay. As of Dec 31 2018 he's still living at age 90 at least..
