I'm replying so that you see this. First thing is what he said was about his journey towards Islam. It’s not the same for everybody. Perhaps muslims do not teach them in some cases. It definitely less than 5%. So, the chances are 5ঃ95(assumption). And It's mandatory to pray 5 times a day for them who can. Not for recently converted muslims. If a recently converted muslim just try to lean & have the intention of practicing & he/she dies. Her/his good intention is enough to grant a palace in heaven. But some of things one must do or be no matter what he/she believes. Like always telling the truth, never murder,rape,steal or any kind of criminal activities. One is allowed to lie when it’s a matter of saving life. Likely hungry person should eat first even if it is time for prayer. Likely one must not pray when dizzy/sleepy. He/she may end up cursing instead of praying. One must take part in war against someone who is trying to demolish your property illegally, trying to stop you practicing your religion, trying to throw you out of your own house, trying to ovetake your country forcefully etc. You are even allowed to murder in an ttempt to defend. It may be accidental or in some situation where one has no other way. At war you are allowed to kill but if the other person wants peace then you must not only refrain from killing but also make sure of his/her safety from other soldiers. You must be humble, nice, kind, forgiving, helpful etc.

The prophet said, "Do you really do that? It is better for you not to do it. No soul that which Allah has destined to exist, but will surely come into existence." SAHIH MUSLIM, VOLUME 2, #3371 Abu Sirma said to Abu Said al Khudri: "O Abu Said, did you hear Allah's messenger mentioning about al-azl (coitus interruptus)?" He said, "Yes", and added: "We went out with Allah's messenger on the expedition to the Mustaliq and took captive some excellent Arab women; and we desired them for we were suffering from the absence of our wives, (but at the same time) we also desired ransom for them. So we decided to have sexual intercourse with them but by observing azl" (withdrawing the male sexual organ before emission of semen to avoid conception). But we said: "We are doing an act whereas Allah's messenger is amongst us; why not ask him?" So we asked Allah's messenger and he said: "It does not matter if you do not do it, for every soul that is to be born up to the Day of Resurrection will be born". SAHIH MUSLIM, VOLUME 2, #3432 Abu Said al-Khudri reported that at the Battle of Hunain Allah's messenger sent an army to Autas and encountered the enemy and fought with them. Having overcome them and taken them captives, the Companions of Allah's messenger seemed to refrain from having intercourse with captive women because of their husbands being polytheists. Then Allah, Most High, sent down regarding that: "And women already married, except those whom your right hands possess (Quran - 4:24), HADITH OF THE SUNAN OF ABU DAWUD, VOLUME 2, # 2150: Abu Said al-Khudri said: "The apostle of Allah sent a military expedition to Awtas on the occasion of the battle of Hunain. They met their enemy and fought with them. They defeated them and took them captives. Some of the Companions of the apostle of Allah were reluctant to have intercourse with the female captives in the presence of their husbands who were unbelievers. So Allah, the Exalted, sent down the Quranic verse, "And all married women (are forbidden) unto you save those (captives) whom your right hands possess". That is to say, they are lawful for them when they complete their waiting period." [The Quran verse is 4:24]. HADITH OF THE SUNAN OF ABU DAWUD, VOLUME 2, #2167: Muhaririz said: "I entered the mosque and saw Abu Said al-Khudri. I sat with him and asked about withdrawing the penis (while having intercourse), Abu Said said: We went out with the Apostle of Allah on the expedition to Banu al-Mustaliq, and took some Arab women captive, and we desired the women, for we were suffering from the absence of our wives, and we wanted ransom; so we intended to withdraw the penis (while having intercourse with the slave-women). But we asked ourselves: "Can we draw the penis when the apostle of Allah is among us before asking him about it?" So we asked him about it. Think of Islam as the way of life God intended for us. When you buy a device where do you look to know how to use it ? a manual....Why ? because the creator of that device know all about it. That's it...I know that you know that you did not create yourself, how could that be ? If you were honest with yourself, you can't not believe in the creator,. Then, how do you know him ? By checking if the manual he sent is logical and the Quran is the only book that has no second edition and is filled with scientific facts, none of it is wrong..... God can't make it any easier sister Mellissa and I hope you finally believe and start to live the real happiness, because I promise you, there isn't anything other than Islam happiness anyone could experience in this world. Atheists tradition prevailing some other countries. Your house that you living was being constructed by some one but don't think the world that you living, the oxygen you breathe the sunlight the water make all lived possible to live .... all are created by the creator ?? You dont recognise your cteator because your crestor declared respite for you till death as test. So as the test Is going on He will not punish you. So you can do whatever you like. Your body i eill be decomposed after desth but your soul is taken awsy to your creator. And will be resurrected for giving you prize or punish ment. My best American friend with all his 4 children, his wife and parents all converted not too long ago and they prefer the word reverted. Dear Sister. Let me ask you one thing... I know that you said you are an atheist. However, could you tell me or even elaborate on who created the universe? Nothing comes from Nothing. There always must be a cause for things... If, for example, do you think that your cell phone was created by itself? No! So everything that is created has a creator. Except for Allah, or God as you say... God is uncreated. That is why he is God otherwise, he would not be God, and even I would not worship him...
