NIGHTMARE made the 1st Death Note opening and ending.They still make music, but goo check out their stuff from the early 2000s if you want some sweet Death Note style visual kei.

リヴィド and Anima are great, and The World Ruler contains both the opening and ending to Death Note. Yomi, who does the vocals, sounds best around 2005-2009. His voice was underdeveloped before then and he was diagnosed with functional dysphonia after that time period.

They were in my town a few years ago along with Satsuki for a con, but I couldn't go because the con moved an hr away so I ended up going to see Dir en Grey since they were playing in my neighborhood. I love Diru, but I've seen them a few times, but born and Satsuki don't come every year like Diru.

They didn't actually, and they also said where it did start. It started from a Japanese teacher telling a young couple to do it and tell others that it was popular as a sort of experiment I think. When he asked his class later who had tried it 1/3 of the class said yes. My guess is he wanted to see how many kids would do something weird if it was said to be popular

I feel that Born nowadays lack something. They are much much more awesome back in their Felony Pv days. Back then, I can hear so much emotion whenever Ryouga-kun sings. I feel that their music since they became a PSC band have become somewhat restricted, commercialized and dull. I don't mean it in a bad way, I do still listen to them until now. It's just that PSC should give their bands much more freedom in expressing their music.
