I had read somewhere that this song is actually a samurai's wife mourning his honorable death. Buuuuut it gets kinda confusing unless you consider that this samurai and his wife were soulmates, what with the concept of "I am you, you are me, and without you I am incomplete/broken/not myself."
@caesarsalad-xu4vy5 жыл бұрын
The song is from the perspective of a wife whose husband dies in battle.

My guess the video has two perspectives showing. A samurai that wanted to go home but died on the battlefield instead and a shinigami that seeing it all.

I want him... that voice can sing me to sleep every night.
Gackt has sometimes got a kind of bizzareo David Bowie vibe to him and I think this video is the best example. I mean compare this to Within You from the movie Labriynth and you'll either see what I mean or think I'm crazy.

Everyone talks about "his voice" and "oh he looks so great for his age!" But for me, I just love that whole "Oda Nobunaga from Devil Kings" vibe he gives off. If he is so good for being a villian. Can the people see a movie of Devil Kings? I may be just speaking for myself. But I would give it a shot on my big screen. XD

And, I am going to say it, he is a very handsome man, and anyone who has eyes can see that. =) It just adds to his wonderfulness as an artist.

@HadassaMoon1449 жыл бұрын
micanikko I do know that for Japan, there are people in denial about the atrocities during the Japanese occupation of Korea and the Nanking Massacre for example. Meanwhile, others recognize the history for what it was and are work to use it as a lesson for how to behave in the future. This applies to all cultures.

I was just a child when I first saw this video clip and heard the song, and it was Gackt who awakened in a Slavic girl the love for Japanese culture. Now I came across this video by chance and was reminded of it. I cried a long time ago when I watched it, and I'm crying now. Both the video and the music are not morally obsolete. My love forever
