@@danielb-c9100 yup, started in 1977 and bought loads of ‘muscle cars’ in early 1980s when they were cheap. As I said before, lots of $100 cars that I wish I still had now, like 64 Chevy wagons, Pontiacs , Studebakers , even a couple of DeSotos . Underrated movie I saw this movie in 94. I wanted to grow up at that moment and buy me a classic muscle car. I wanted a 67 Camaro. I knew a gut who owned a 70 mach 1 that I chased around trying to buy it I guess he thought I was too young and didn't believe that I couldn't afford it, so I stopped asking him. Then I heard from someone he sold it for $700 bucks. I was pist, but I was ok. I was still confident I would get my 67 Camaro one day back in 2020. I got my 67 Camaro needs some work, but I'm happy with it

A "4110, 4.1" axle ratio eh, usually we say it as "4 11" or "4 10" even though it's written 4.11 or 4.10...besides the fact he said it wrong, that Mustang would have a Ford 9" axle, the axle on that F-250 is a Dana 60, I know that because the back cover was off. A Ford 9" doesn't have a removable back cover.
@6226superhurricane7 ай бұрын
41 and 10 are the number of teeth on the crown wheel and pinion gears to get a 4.10 ratio. the crown usually has the tooth counts stamped into it you divide the two to get the ratio. 41-10 = 4.10. 41-11 = 3.73

Dude it's a movie. They're not actual gearheads.

@TheRoadhammer3797 ай бұрын
@@6226superhurricaneWrong dude, to the point you sound ignorant. 4. 11 is not 3:73, the ratio is a numeric description of driveshaft revolutions to make one full rotation of the tires. 3.73:1 is 3 and three quarters revolutions of the driveshaft to turn the ring and pinion gears equaling one rotation of the tire. 4.11:1 CAN'T ever equal 3.73 as they are both gear ratios. Terrible attempt to sound knowledgeable on your part 😅
@6226superhurricane6 ай бұрын
@@TheRoadhammer379 read what i wrote again but slower, keep reading it until you understand it. i did not write 4.11:1 i wrote 41-11 as you would find it stamped into the crownwheel. it's not the ratio it's the number of teeth on the crownwheel 41 and number of teeth on the pinion 11 you divide the two to get the ratio. 41 divided by 11 = 3.73. the movie was correct whoever wrote that scene at least had a basic knowledge of differentials or consulted with somebody that did.

Not in line with envirothink and so those who glorify such activity must be punished until they fall in line or fall away . The old ways must be erased and those that hold these dangerous old values must be subdued and re educated so that they no longer poisen the minds of the good and upright citizenry. If you have not read the book or at the very least seen the movie then perhaps now is the time . A country must first be free before it’s freedoms can be taken away .
