He's actually an exceptional singer. The reason why he's so "hit-and-miss" on his live vocal delivery in this video is because he's trying to sing in Bruce Springsteen's voice (which he does fairly well considering his speaking voice).

Missed this in 2010 but WOW! This is just an incredible job by everyone and obviously especially Jimmy. Thanks very much for posting this. Isn’t KZbin a wonderful thing for us to be able to see these videos from the past. I think people of my age, pre internet who grew up watching 3 stations on a small black and white TV with no remote can relate to just how impressive KZbin capability truly is.
