A WOMAN born with no limbs hasn’t let her condition affect her independence, as she is able to cook, write, photograph and even sew. Amy Brooks from Pittsburgh, USA, was born with Congenital Tetraphocomelia, a birth defect that affects all four limbs. The 37-year-old told Barcroft TV: “I obviously have to do things a lot differently than someone who is completely able-bodied but I’m able to do things just in a different way.” Follow Amy's channel here: / crozb87

I am sending this video to those who don't think they can do much in life. You are a true inspiration. We have a friend, who had his arm and hand blown off at 15. I am amazed at what he can do. He was a machinist and married with children. He is very involved with his grandchildren and often takes care of them while their parents are out doing things. My younger sister was born with cerebral palsy, she could not use her arms or legs, she drove her wheelchair with a stick in her mouth, your video made me think of all her accomplishments. Unfortunately she passed away ten years ago, there are very few days that go by that I don’t think about her. Thank you for posting your videos they are great.

Thanks to her for sharing her life. I enjoy watching these videos about how people do things, because the reality is we can all find ourselves in similar situations. All it takes is a car injury, infection or anything can happen. So it is good to learn, be inspired, and adapt when necessary. Just under the surface, we're all more alike than we are different.
