What a Fantastic hunt... I live in Eastern Oregon and have never harvested a Blacktail it’s on my bucket list.. I have some nice mulies and one DANDY whitetail in Oregon. Looks like an amazing hunt! 2 misses at 600yds? Looks like you all need some long range shooting instructions. I noticed 2 things just from watching the video; 1) get directly behind the gun, don’t angle your body off to the left (common for right hand shooters) 2) flatten your feet, the insides of your feet and ankles should lay flat on the ground instead of having your feet up on your toes. Both of these will help maintain consistency and build a more stable base. If you want more shooting tips from a Marine sniper, you’d have to invite me on a hunt :) 🙏🏼😂

What I learned is that the Sig Cross rifle misses at 600 yards just like every other rifle on the planet ever produced. Personally I'm against Spray and Pray as a hunting technique.
