Hey guys, I'm a fellow southern Oregonian who is attempting his first elk archery hunt this year. Right outside of Ashland. I appreciate all of the knowledge. Thank you!

I just received my Cat road Shuffle from you guys and almost instantly went over to a buddy of mines office to return some of the calls he gave me to practice, after I hit that sweet spot a few times I grabbed the bugle and ripped off a few in front of him and he almost folded over laughing. Thanks for the tips guys especially on trimming my call, I get a better seal now and it really helped.

You told us “volume over pitch” which was great advice. If you were told your life depended on how loud your bugle was could you make it louder than the previous one? The photos we have from LOF had Treavor’s veins popping out of his neck. Really great advice because the volume of air from the diaphragm is much stronger than that from just your mouth. And the part about sounding like a fool. We are still learning but it’s part of the process. See you boys in a month 😳

I literally watched and mimicked Will Primos for weeks on end until I got it years ago. A big thing is getting your body into it. Look at an elk while he’s bugling.. he bugles with his whole body. When I bugle, i put my gut into it. Especially when chuckling.

Thanks for the time spent once AGAIN boys. I'm heading to Idaho next September and I turned to born and raised for advice, the best part is I don't have to ask for it, it's just given. Thanks AGAIN

I just started trying to use a mouth reed last season and felt like I was ok at it. Been practicing all summer but I was struggling with pitch control and losing that high note. I just tried it several times with the call just a little farther back in my mouth and felt like I had much more control as opposed to when it was closer to my front teeth. Great tip, now to keep annoying my dog and neighbors! :)

Good presentation on calling! I found if you tie a piece of dental floss to it that builds your confidence that you won't choke on it.

Awesome video. This is year 8, can’t hunt for fear of loss of job, darn Covid, but years 1-7 were awesome. No elk but a big learning curve! I will be back at it on year 9 and moving forward! Your videos have taught me a lot about sticking with it and perseverance and not giving up. Keep at it and keep on making videos!

Good job guys on your calling videos. Got the "Kill Pack" yesterday in the mail. Tried them all day on a road trip in the truck. Great calls. The right call is such a individual thing. For me I found the blue call had the best tone for the way I call. Going to try trimming one. Never thought of that before. Keep up the the awesome work. Honest and real entertainment! Love you guys! September 1 can't come soon enough....

I agree I’m a beginner at calling and the blue one is easier to cow call for me but the black is my favorite for bugling following by the yellow one.

Trust me I'm a dentist! I just had All on 4 implants a few months ago. I was worried about being able to use diaphragm calls for turkey, and learning to call elk. No problems getting a seal even though there are huge gaps between teeth and gums.

Question regarding mouth calls. I am a beginning bow hunter, hopefully will draw for my first elk hunt this year. Can a mouth call be used if you don't have teeth on the top? I have a denture plate that doesn't fit correctly and due to insurance I don't know if I'll have a new one before season. Thanks for any input.
