This is great stuff right here. It helps to hear the calls and cadence without the tube being used so we can hear what the sounds are like for practicing. Thanks!! Im bummed again....didn't get drawn for elk AGAIN this year....dammit. That's 6 years of applying in NM and still not drawn. Didn't get WY either...sad story.

Yep....I agree....Colorado may go on my list for next year. My wife and I drew NM deer tags, so we at least have a target species to go after. BUT..i want elk meat!! LOL.

You’re videos have helped me out immensely. Quick question. I have a tendency to spit / blow more moisture out than air sometimes. Any pointers or just or practice practice practice?
@THEBUGLERBRAND2 жыл бұрын
I’ve met folks who get excessive saliva build up when calling. I think it may be your mouth’s reaction to having something foreign in it, thinking it’s food. I’d say continuing to practice will hopefully condition your mouth to understand maybe everything you put in isn’t food? Good luck! Don’t give up 😊

@@THEBUGLERBRAND thank you for the reply! I appreciate it. I’m leaving for my NM elk hunt in 5 days. I’ll keep at it. Awesome videos by the way.

I cannot for the life of me get that tuhhh at the end. Driving me crazy. My chuckles end with the drop off like a cow call how do I get it to go back slighting up in volume at the end of each chuckle?
@THEBUGLERBRAND2 ай бұрын
Try more air pressure and loosen your mouth a little. Don’t have your cheeks and jaw too rigid.

Im confused tword the end. I can do a full bugle and the start and mid of chuckle i just dont know how to get the deep tube sound if that makes sense. Ive tried my voice and experimented with air pressure but still cant get it. Do you possibly know why?
@THEBUGLERBRANDАй бұрын
@@killerbear537 practice with just your voice making that punch to the gut thumping sound. Once you perfect that sound and cadence, add in the diaphragm sound
