ボロ錆の海老鉈、修復してみました。

錆びてボロボロ状態の海老鉈を修復しました。鉈の表面は錆でぼこぼこ、でも道具は武骨で黒光りしているようなほうが味があっていい、刃先だけ研いで柄を作り直しました。こんにちは、道具道楽です、チャンネル名のとおりＤＩＹでの物づくり好きが高じて、道具の方が好きになってしまいました。思い起こせば大学時代にＷｏｏｄｙ　Ｌｉｆｅ（丸太小屋ブームの先駆けとなった雑誌）の創刊号を手にした時から始まり、かれこれ４４年のＤＩＹ歴になります。 家づくりの基礎を学ぶために５年ほど大工の修行をし、２０年ほど前に念願のログハウスを建てました。今は、半分仕事もしながら休みの日は仕事場にこもっています。ヤフオクで中古の道具を買っては、またそんなものを買ってと文句を言われつづけ、道楽にうつつを抜かしています。この動画でやっていることはあくまで道楽者が我流でやっていることなので温かい目でご覧ください。 多くの物づくりファンと同じように道具や機械に思うようにお金をかけられるわけではないので、旋盤やベルトサンダー、ベルトソーなどほとんどが手作りで、そのほかの機械もほとんどがヤフオクなどで手に入れた中古品です。ないものは作る、その作ることを楽しむ、というスタンスでやっております。 これからも様々な物づくりを投稿していきたいと思いますので、よろしければチャンネル登録をお願いします

"It's a shrimp hatchet as you can see." This thing you name? I had no idea existed until you put that on the screen. But I'm really excited about the restoration now. You must have to deal with monstrously large shrimps.

deep scratches on ebony at the bottom of the handle are very visible, it could have been gone with a bit more sanding
