hi just tiny suggestion. try not to use the term boro when describing mended clothes that are sold by someone. even sashiko isnt a completely accurate description. sashiko is mending. and these garments are not broken and repaired they have been made that way. boro specifically is when something has been mended with sashiko so many times that it is in essence held together completely by the sashiko stitches. sashiko mending originated from a very very poor time in japans history where fabric was very very expensive. and families had no choice by to use scraps and thread to mend clothing. but as always they try their best to make things presentable. boro is the continual reparing and use of a piece of cloth. many times for generations. it carries sadness and shame. these were people who had so little in their lives. and their clothes outed them as such. so i think u should be very reserved with the word. especially as an online personality you have influence and can teach people that this is something with a lot of emotion behind it. boro is something very specific. u can wear boro proudly today. but one should always mind the history. especially if you have real lived in boro. and not boro inspired clothing. which i think many would prefer you use. saying boro-inspired and even sashiko-inspired is better at describing what is actually being sold and is respectful to those who had to endure hardships for the clothing they made and why they had to make them. i hope my words do not fall upon deaf ears here. and im not trying to say misuse of the terms say anything negative about you. but as someone who also greatly appreciates the look and practice i think making sure you respect the history of this practice is important

I have made a simple pattern like this on jeans. But i don't know why do people call this as Japanese technique. Because here in India, this technique started many hundreds years ago, Because my mother learned same technique from her mother and her mother learned this from her mother and at that time, they didn't knew anything about japan. And i have seen this same technique used by other people too.

I’ve recently started repairing my demons in this style. I want to convey to people that we need preserve and appreciate the old things. I absolutely hate fast fashion and what it’s doing to the environment. Upcycling is the solution!
