Wouldn’t it make sense that Boruto knows about the ten tails because of Momoshiki’s ability to see the future with his Byakugan? If Kawaki has all of Ishiki’s abilities after the time skip, wouldn’t it be reasonable that Boruto has access to all of Momoshiki’s as well? Maybe Boruto saw a future where the Juvenile ten tails matured, was released and started destroying all of the world.

There’s another person Boruto knows that understands the full horror of the Ten Tails. Momoshiki. Momoshiki could’ve told Boruto what’ll happen if he gets eaten, shown him memories, all in an attempt to make Boruto’s life more of a living hell by explaining the horror of what’ll happen to his loved ones. Try to shake him a bit, make him crack under the pressure of securing his own life.

I thought something similar, but a bit different. We know Momoshiki can see in to the future to a certain degree because he knew Boruto was going to lose everything. Since Boruto has Momoshiki's DNA and some of his abilities, I think He might have just learned to use that future sight during the time skip, and used it to see what would happen with the ten tails if the claw grimes aren't eliminated.

I think the “horrors of ten tails” is something entirely different we just don’t know about yet. There would be no reason for Boruto to tell Code he knows nothing because Code knows they eat Otsutsuki. But Boruto said because Code changed them, something different will happen. Boruto probably didn’t go to the Kaguya fight because that wouldn’t give him any new information. Maybe he went somewhere else or glimpsed the future again and that’s how he knows about what will happen differently with Code’s ten tails.

a lot of mangaka make their story’s in a way where they know how it will ultimately finish and they fill in the blanks to help it get there, that makes it easier to do things like this and helps people in their team finish it for them if anything were to happen to them and they couldn’t finish it themselves. they also leave keys points throughout their writing so it’s not just the ending that they come up with they also have certain events that will lead up to that ending already planned out aswell so the story doesn’t detract far off from what they intended if one of their students was needed to finish the manga.

Space travel makes so much more sense to me right now. He just traveled the universe, taking out ootsutsukis and abosribing their powers. This makes even more sense to me when you look at borutos rasengan jutsu at the end of the chapter. It surrounds him like something that would allow him to survive in the vaccum of space if he doesnt have exact coordinates to a planet and he just teleports to around the star with the technique active then he flies to the planet on sight. I bet borutos new rasengan jutsu destroys and matter it touches and turns it into pure energy like the light speed travel engines in Enders Game

He clearly tells Code “That might normally be the case but these ones are different thanks to you enhancing them” This was right after Code explains how a ten tails works clearly meaning that Boruto isn’t talking about what Kaguya tried doing but rather something more sinister. He tells Code if he doesn’t withdraw his army it would be the worst possible future for everyone. I don’t think he means everyone on the planet I think he means everyone as in the Universe

Great theory. I think it is the other way around. Boruto traveled to the future and saw what will happen if Kode continues to use the 10 tails army and lose control. The terrors of the 10 tails weren't so bad when Naruto and Sasuke fought Kagua. They had some pretty big power ups and where able to combat her pretty well. Keep up the great work!

1st - A new 3rd Hokage most likely being Shisuis grandfather , I say this cause he is the only other relevant character. 2nd - this new Hokage stops the Uchiha without a war, and without Danzo it ends peacefully. When we see Sakura off in the distance compared to when we see the black figure; Sakura is kneeling while the black figure is standing. I reread the Kayuga fight to look for context on the person in the background. Something interesting with the mysterious person in the background, assuming it's not Sakura (the paneling makes this ambiguous, it could be her, the anime puts more detail on that point), is that after Kaguya is beaten, Naruto runs back saying he had something to do. At that time we see him throw Zetsu to Kaguya, however at that point he's completely alone, and his chakra sensing is on a level that if someone else was there watching, he could speak to them alone at that point. The only thing that is an issue with this fight is most of it didn't happen in that final dimension, in fact the only thing one would see there is Obito turning to dust. So there would have needed to be other dimensional shifting happening, although we've seen karma marks do this so it's technically within Boruto's powers to do. Edit: Random thought, not time travel but still using the dimension shifting idea of karma. What if Boruto went to other dimensions where god trees have destroyed worlds? Sasuke did this in the past with his Rinnegan, but Boruto could do it now too. Boruto is one of the few that can see what happens to other places as a result of the ten tails.

What if Sarada's MS ability, or at least one of them, is an immunity to dojutsu abilities or the ability to counteract/block them? We've been operating under the assumption that Sarada's MS ability will work like all the others, in that it'll be tied to who she is and what she wants/needs at the time of awakening. This has led to the consensus that it will have something to do with counteracting Eida's dojutsu. But recent developments show that Eida doesn't know that Sarada wasn't affected by what she did, which makes zero sense given that Sarada has been actively campaigning for Boruto which is something Eida should be able to see, yet for whatever reason she's unaware. She's suspicious of Sarada in their conversation, which again is weird because why is she even willing to help or speak to Sarada at all? Well we know Eida is interested in people who aren't affected by her powers, like Sarada, but she doesn't know that Sarada isn't even tho she should. But her suspicion suggests that this may be why she engages with Sarada in the first place- It could be because she knows she can't see Sarada, but isn't willing to tip her hand until she finds out why. She even offers to grant her a wish to change everything back, which for no real reason Sarada declines. What if it's because Sarada knew that if she did Sarada's MS would prevent Eida from being able to do so? There would be no way of Eida knowing what Sarada's abilities are if they work this way unless Sarada explained it to someone given it wouldn't physically manifest, and it would explain why Shikamaru warned Sarada about tipping her hand and revealing she wasn't affected, which means it is confirmed that Eida doesn't know something she absolutely should. It would also explain why Shikamaru warned that they would be in danger if she found out- because an eye like that would be extremely sought after by anyone who knew what it could do and anyone who was afraid of it being used against them. It would also explain why he thought they would be in danger in the first place when Eida made it clear that she was willing to give Sarada exactly what she wanted. It's also an extremely relevant ability in Boruto since everyone has dojutsu now and most of them outclass the sharingan. The series needs a way to be able to counter this ever growing list of dojutsu abilities, so giving her one that does that would also make her relevant in terms of power as the female lead of the show. Otherwise why isn't she affected by Eida's charm? Loving Boruto is why she wasn't affected by Eida's brainwashing (or so we've been told...) but that wouldn't explain why she isn't (most likely) affected by the charm or (according to my theory) Eida's sight. She could also have the ability to cast this on other people, which would explain why Sumire is also (presumably) not affected by Eida's charm or sight.

@@TM__H3 I’m assuming that we’re not avoiding the “she loves Boruto and that’s why” theory because, as much as I don’t like it, this is kishimoto and that’s probably how it’s going to go. So I’m saying that specifically being immune to Eida’s sight and now any continued immunity specifically comes from her MS. That’s why Eida could see her before but Sarada and Shikamaru act as if now they know she can’t. Which could just end up being a plot hole but since Sarada is basically all that’s left of the Uchiha clan, we can hope she’ll have one of the most powerful ms abilities we’ve seen. So her initial immunity to the brainwashing was b/c of being in love with Boruto (like Sumire) but what we’re seeing and will continue to see is because of her MS.

I'm sure someone may have pointed this out, but Eida did promise to Boruto to not look for Boruto until he came back to the village. This was near the end of the chapter before the timeskip. Had to check to make sure I remember correctly. So him going back that far already wasn't necessary unless he wanted first hand knowledge of the ten tails because Eida already said she wasn't going to look for him. I think its more likely that boruto knows the "horrors" of the ten tails due to having Momoshiki as a personal otsutski database. Im sure within 2 years he may have found a way to subjegate or cooperate with Momoshiki to get the information he needs from him. Momoshiki is shown to be extremely knowledgeable and i dont think that should be overlooked. Momoshiki could have shown Boruto memories of other ten tails far more terrible than the one in the 4th great war.

Listening to this made me have an idea about that panel with the dark figure in the back. If it was Sakura back there, why wouldn't he have drawn a bit smaller panel next to it with just her face? Just to point out is her for sure, I think he would have. I love this!

Even if that was the case you see Sakura looking down at the battlefield and there’s nothing infront of her but the characters we know. To to mention if that was Bourto we’d see Sakura in front of her. But it’s one high ground the whole time. Not two. Nobody would've been confused if Sakura was that far behind the whole time, they showed Sakura beside Obito multiple times. Not to mention, that shadow figure from the distance turned and walked away.

Obito was near Sakura, Sasuke was saved from Kaguya’s dimension he went to fight Kaguya by himself, then after awhile Naruto rejoined the fight. Then when Kaguya changed the dimensions to the heavy gravity one, shot the rods at them Obito jumps down to save Naruto, Kakashi runs to save Sasuke. They both are to far and Rin pulls them in. At this point Sakura was in the same spot. Obito jumped down to save Naruto. Watch the scene. Or read the manga

Im still curious about the first time Eida used her wish powers. I vaguely remember her someone that she didn't mean for it to be like this and a bunch of other stuff. Hoping theres some overlap between her first use and Boruto possibly going to the past.

I believe she is infsct armados daughter reconstructed using shibais left over cells after he/she accented to god hood. I also think that the otusuki always come in pairs that Amado is shibais partner and is also an otusuki.. he has white hair and vast knowledge of karma and is able to create them. There is a panel showing a convo between him and jigen where jigen says he is limited for time where Amado has all the time in the world. He may have used all his chakra making Aida and we also know otosuki can live a really long time

Nick - you know better. The reason why they're called Space-Time jitsu is because space and time are inexorably linked. Time is defined by the movement through space (because as you well know, nothing is ever actually sitting perfectly still in absolute terms) so even if you're moving yourself through space with zero time, you're still interacting with time.
