Couple things regarding Daemon: 1. When Boruto tries to punch Daemon he grabs Boruto's fist. The punch was not reflected when Boruto had clear intent to cause harm. Meaning Daemon's intent to fight can override his auto reflect. This comes into play when Daemon senses Himawari and rushes to fight her allowing Boruto to grab him from behind. 2. Code is able to grab Daemon through his claw portals to reflect an attack. Not only was he targeted by an ability but he was maneuvered without his consent. There are clearly weaknesses and workarounds to Daemon's reflect. The easiest being just portal him to the moon and wave goodbye.

Mahoraga doesn’t exist in boruto and I doubt the same concept would work as Sakuna still intended to cut Gojo as well as the entire space around him. Kishi is no stranger to random plot nerfs. Just give daemon some crazy power up but remove his broken ability that made him unbeatable. Worked for Juubito losing Kamui. Juubito with Kamui could just teleport to the other side of the planet and use infinite tsukuyomi if he really wanted. No need to fight.

I've heard the theory "just aim around him lol" as a way to defeat Daemon; but I think the end of the Code Assault arc disproves it. When Kawaki goes to blow up Code; Code basically just holds up Daemon in front of him like a shield. Kawaki was still aiming for Code; with that attack; he didn't even know Daemon was there until he got hit with his own blast. As far as I'm concerned; that scene alone shows that you don't have to be intending to hit Daemon *specifically*; you just have to intend to do something that will end up causing him harm for your action to be reflected.

I think u are misunderstanding it a bit . It was stated in chapter 71 that Daemon has to touch others to reflect attacks but ofc thats not all cuz we see him reflecting attacks without touching when he was first introduced i.e. the axe and stuff getting reflected which I think means that he can reflect killing intent and not the reflect to harm and he has to be touching someone to reflect their harming intent . And the Code using daemon to reflect Kawaki's blast was also stated in the manga i.e. Daemon can transfer his ability to others if he his touching that person so basically Daemon's ability was gained by Code when he was touching Daemon and Kawaki was trying to kill Code so his attack got reflected .

Here's a couple ideas to try: Izanami: intent is positive so it shouldn't be reflected. Unlike the sarada abilities, you're not changing his mind forcefully, he's still making his own decisions. Thematically, Sasuke could go out like his brother. Even if it's reflected, you would be able to exit the loop easily. Get daemon to attack himself. The reflective ability would reflect his attack back at him, trapping him in an infinite series of attacks. Would need some high level talknojutsu, but daemon feels like the equivalent of pain from naruto.

Might I suggest that the solution is similar to how Bane Jhons is dealt with in the All Guardsman Party. His reflection is running some sort of power (most likely chakra) so just keep hitting him with a lot of little weak attacks until he tires out. Then bring in the heavy hitters once he can’t reflect bigger hits.

I agree that a lack of intent is probably the solution, especially since wearing him out is just attrition and you will probably loose. However what stops a large number of trash tier ninja just chucking shuriken/kunai/rocks until he’s drained? Little to no chakra use,almost no self damage(comparatively), and all an individual ninja needs to do is throw objects when he is focusing on someone else or run/dodge when not.

Himawari’s byakugan could potentially see past Daemon, so if the idea of hitting beyond Daemon is true, then Himawari is built for it. Also, unrealistic; but Baryon mode could work the same way as Uzuhiko too. Potentially Totsuga blade. Drunken Dreams? Doesn’t necessarily need to be Ill intent. A realm of drunken dreams seems pretty lit… for the first bit at least😂

Old school sharingan Kakashi was an answer to the "another dimension" theory. In fact Kakashi could've used it as an offensive move against anyone. With Daemon in his dimension, any attack that he would send to that dimension would automatically be reflected back to the caster.

That would just end up reflecting it at kakashi instead, like if a projectile is flying at kakashi and he ends up warping it into kamui dimension to hit daemon then kakashi is essentially the one who's intending him harm... Like if someone throws a baseball at me and then I purposefully smack the ball to send it flying into someones nuts then that would obviously be on me and not the person who threw the ball, same with your kamui idea and anything kakashi sends there will just hit himself instead because the projectile will always reflect at the last person who altered its flight path last and on purpose.

To say it was easily done doesn't really track. Sukuna needed Mahoraga to figure it out for him, and even then. . . it's not a great explanation. What does it really mean to "cut space"? Space is everywhere, in and around everything, all at once. Heck, on a relative scale, there's more space between the nucleus of an atom and its orbiting electrons than there is between the sun and the earth. How can you cut something that fully immerses you? Something would need to come from outside space (i.e. outside the boundary of the universe) to even begin to "cut space".

When you (or more accurately your thumbnail) brought up the Reaper Death Seal, my first thought was that it would work because it's an attack that damages you just as much as the opponent. So instead of the user sealing Daemon, it would reflect and Daemon would seal the user...but still self-seal as a result. Of course in practice there are still all the other issues you raised in the video, but I was a bit surprised to see that you went through three options and somehow didn't hit my first idea, so I felt like sharing. Incidentally, is anyone else reminded of Red Dwarf's Justice Zone episode?

Hey Nick, in theory what if there were a technique that were to allow a shinobi to attack without any intention at all? Such as just reacting without thought (which eliminates intention). Or if someone who had gentle fist and forcefully activated the tenketsu points that corelate with the 8 gates? Since Damon doesnt have training with it, and all 8 gates get activated, would that be able to cause enough damage to potentially kill him? Especially if the intention was solely to open the 8 gates from a curiosity based intention or a "helpful" intention?

Easiest way to beat him is to just lock him up, shadow strangle or mind transfer jutsu and just walk him into prison, or even using one of the millions of sealing jutsus they have. Another thing to try is just possessing him and making him walk off a cliff then let gravity do the rest. You're making him walk off the cliff with the intent to flee rather than any intent to harm and since all you're doing is making him walk then there is no damage to reflect to begin with. Or you could plant a bunch of traps and landmines everywhere, it's entirely his own fault if he sets them off and walks into them himself when they were never necessarily intended for him. There are a lot of ways to beat an opponent without harming them though...

Sounds to me like stupid lazy writing also has a price 😂 Automatic reflective defense 😅 I haven't seen that before 😅 At least Gara's sand defense looked so cool and had a price and limitations. Also, ninjutsu absorption by rinnigan users was touch and go but had a price and limitations. Hell, even kamui had it's limitations and ways to defeat it despite being broken!

Aaah .Hanzo the salamander would have been great to fight Daemon. He could fill the room with poison. But he was immune to his own poison, so reflecting it wouldn't hurt him. And eventually, Daemon has to breath the poison in. Can he reflect hte fact there's little to no oxygen?

The problem is kawaki attacked code, his intent was to kill code. Little guy wasn’t even there and kawaki wasn’t even thinking of him. But code pulled him through his claw and reflected kawakis attack.

A simple explination of Damon's ability would be that it is some sort of genjutsu. The terms of the Jutsu would likely come into play whenever you see him and recognise him as him, a way around it would be fighting without eyesight and hearing etc or being hypnotised into either thinking your attacks aren't harmful or that Damon isn't Damon or something along those lines. I get the idea that the writer will pull some BS that whoever kills him weren't aiming at him though as you say.

I think Daemon, Eida, and Code were born human but then modified with Shinjutsu and ninja tools. We were told Eida was born 16 years ago. But I’m not sure why they aren’t aging now. Code Daemon and Eida don’t look any different in the timeskip. Code and Eida are most likely the same age so you could chalk that up to their bodies not making any drastic changes in 3 years but Daemon appears to be 10 pre ts but he looks exactly the same in the ts even though he should be about 13.

Like u said since codes claw marks reflected back to code but if Damon so happens to let the claw marks hit him he will therefore be able to teleport through dimensions so that dimension theory isn't worth it also from what I've seen he can reflect anything without looking at it so if u were to throw an axe past Damon and it hits the wall but u had the intent to hurt him but completely miss that axe will get reflected the only way to beat Damon is with close combat bc there's no way of reflecting ur own fist or if Sasuke learns tsukinome he can trap Damon in a gen jutsu forever and basically killing him lemme know what y'all think

haven't watched boruto so it might not work but there was this guy that redirected attacks in majutsu no index and the trick to defeating him was changing the direction of the attack the moment the ability was used like, maybe if you try to attack him but the second you attack is going to be reflected you change to attacking yourself, the reflection would be activated but since you're attacking yourself the attack would be reflected towards daemon to be honest i like all your other theories better

@NCHammer 23 There is another option: using an attack that even if reflected, still kills Damon. Could be a nice "self sacrifice" moment to save the world. A clear example would be Deidara and C0. The reflection of this Jutsu is the same.

JJK SPOILERS I don’t understand how Sukuna was able to cut Gojo by not aiming directly at him. That seems like way too easy of a way to beat infinity. I feel like anyone could pull that off. Where was it stated that an attack needs to have intention to be stopped by infinity? I don’t remember that being the case. I’m pretty sure we saw Gojo’s infinity stop falling debris or random lava with no intention. I feel like it should have stopped Sukuna’s slash. Wasn’t it explained that Infinity automatically calculates the speed and danger of an object being thrown at him and stops it? I don’t remember intent having anything to do with that. And even if it was. Sukuna’s intention WAS to hit Gojo even if he wasn’t aiming for him directly. Maybe I missed something but that felt too easy.

I don’t think Daemon can reflect Taijutsu. The Kara guy he kicked was the only one unarmed and so Daemon had to fight him up close. When Boruto tried to punch him, he had to grab Boruto’s fist. Rock Lee or Metal Lee would be a good test for him because so far we’ve only seen him reflect weapons and ninjutsu. He might can reflect genjutsu like Itachi did vs Kurenai so it might all come down to who can out taijutsu him.

Ways to beat Daemon: Throw him in another’s dimension like with Kamui or Otsutsuki space time. Not sure how he would reflect that. Make him hurt himself or have an outside factor hurt him. We’ve seen that Kawaki’s attack was reflected even though it had no intention of hurting Daemon. But what if you were to set a trap for Daemon. For example, what if Sasuke shot Amaterasu not at Daemon, but at something in front of Daemon and he ran into it and got caught on fire. Would that reflect? Daemon ran into the fire of his own free will so maybe it would burn him. Another option would be to put Daemon in a genjustu that makes him hurt himself. If Daemon attempts to hurt himself that may reflect back onto himself and create a cycle where Daemon keeps reflecting his own damage back onto himself killing him. However, we were told that Daemon’s ability doesn’t work unless he has his palms on someone but I’m pretty sure we’ve seen him use it without him palms on someone. But if that’s the case then all you have to do is hit him before he gets his palms on you or cut off his hands. Also maybe Rasengan Uzuhiko would work since if Daemon touches you when you activate it he gets it. And it’s the planet attacking you so likely no intention. Unless Daemon redirects the attack onto the planet and destroys the earth 😂

My intent was to harm him but the fireball isn't MY attack. So would he only reflect me grabbing him? And the person using the fireball jutsu is intending to attack me, so he wouldn't be reflected at.

Code’s claw marks were stated to be shinjutsu. Although I’m not sure why because they don’t seem very impressive. Flying Rajin and Kamui are arguably stronger but those are just ninjutsu.

I think normal taijutsu would work on daemon since he never reflected a normal punch or kick yet. He dobge boruto kick, he got off code to kick the only guard tyat didnt have a weapon, and he was grabbed by boruto and yanked off his sister even tho the ability was still active. The hyugas lowkey might be his biggest counter.

The indirect attack on Damon shouldn't work. Kawaki attacked Code who pulled Damon through a portal and reflected it. The attack was directed towards someone behind Damon. I believe a sealing jutsu that doesn't harm an individual and simply removes them is the solution.

Suicide attacks the caster can survive are another solution. Prime example is Edo Tensei C0. Reflected or not, the explosion happens. Tchubaku Tensei is another possibility. Question is can daemon escape the pull?

Heres my though, I think Hedan and Kill Daemon but Daemon Cant Bleed bc hes a Robot but if Daemon can bleed and Hedan can curse him Hes Pain will be transfered to Hidan gets it relfected it back in a never ending circle of pain XD
