Boruto REVIVES Kaguya And Reveals The True History Of The Ten Tails

Chapter 2 of Boruto Two Blue Vortex resurrected a popular theory that Boruto will travel back in time, more specifically, the time of the 4th great Ninja War. This all stems from this panel that showed a mysterious figure off in the distance observing the events of the battle vs. Kaguya. Now, this video isn’t a recap of that theory because I don’t believe that Boruto just traveled to the past to gather information, and ofcourse I’ll tell you why in a second. What I believe is that Boruto traveled to that time period with the goal of plucking kaguya from a point in time that wouldn’t destroy the timeline.

I like the theory but why would Kaguya even talk to boruto especially after sensing momoshiki in him someone who she was afraid of. And I don't see boruto on the lvl to dog walk her, she has too many ways to escape rather than have a conversation.

What if those 2 destroyed stone tablet in jigens dimension are shibai n his pair. They came to earth and shibai feed his pair. While waiting, since he had already eaten so many chakra fruits his body was already in the process of ascending. While he was waiting for earths fruit, his body changed n he went up into higher plane of existence leaving the chakra fruit.

This is one of the best theories of Boruto TBV so far, I definitely think we haven't seen the last of Karasuki, and also, there's some Japanese folklore that includes characters like Urashima and Momotaro, whom Urashiki and Momoshiki are based on, and there's also a princess who fled the Palace of the Dragon King (same name as Urashiki's time freeze) with a magical turtle. So if Otsutsuki lore is based on this folklore which seems to be the case, an Otsutsuki princess may have fled to earth and used Karasuki to end up on Earth. This could even be Kaguya or it could be in reference to one of the two missing Otsutsuki that we don't have identities for yet.

Perhaps a couple of thousand years is the same to one of them as a couple of decades were to Madara. If they're doing it for a cause, it doesn't bother them too much. Isshiki might have just taken things slowly and planned his next moves. His sudden near-death might have gotten him thinking about how he could avoid something like this in the future by creating a perfect vessel for his Karma. Maybe part of the wait was because human tech was still primitive, and so he waited until advanced technology developed. Maybe he even guided the developments to some extent, making sure it goes in the way he intended. We eventually see that even the more fodder Kara members can do the kind of regen that used to be limited to top-tier people like Hashirama, and Isshiki's actual result (Kawaki) can do all sorts of things that would have made Isshiki rather difficult to take out.

Great video! I also think it's possible that maybe Isshiki might come from an alternative timeline. Maybe when he was mortally wounded by Kaguya where he was on the run trying to escape her, so he travels to an alternative timeline, finds Jigen and the rest is history. I guess we'll see as more chapters come out.

To get to that scene in the past with Naruto and Obito ... Boruto would need the ability to travel to Kaguya's dimensions. The time travel turtle might not be the answer here. It was probably Momoshiki teaching Boruto how to use his eye so that Code won't feed the two of them to the 10-tails. And while he is traveling about through time, Boruto can learn all of the secrets of everything, including all of the secret Sage areas and portals, he could meet the 6-paths sage and anybody else.

Implying that Boruto wouldn't be able to access Kaguya's dimensions? If Sasuke's rinnegan could allow him to travel all over the place to other dimensions, then there's no way that Boruto wouldn't be able to with Karma, the Jougan or both. I do think Momoshiki will end up somewhat less hostile to Boruto (doubt he'll be as nice as Kurama, but he'll at least not want to become juubi food, like you said) and the guy did say he knows about all shinjutsu. Boruto could learn a lot from him if they decided to work together for a while. But imagine the kind of chakra fruit that would be made, though, if Boruto did get fed to the ten tails. He's not only a relatively powerful Ootsutsuki himself by the time no-limiter Code is running around trying to do this, but he also has Momoshiki (implied to be quite an experienced member of their race) within him in a unique situation where he had to give up on becoming one with Boruto via Karma (when Boruto was resurrected). It would be two Ootsutsuki for the price of one. Code would probably still continue to be a magnet for Ls though lol

Instead of Kurama serving as the inner demon, it is Momoshiki, and just like his dad, Boruto is going to make friends with his inner demon after which they will cooperate. If Momoshiki doesn't cooperate, Boruto can always become the jinchuriki of the Ten Tails, who will seek out the last vestiges of Momoshiki sealed inside Boruto ... and eat him.

Interesting theory, and I do agree that Kaguya could be an ally since her and Boruto share a common enemy, Otsutsuki. I don't know about the time travel thing, but she is sealed away and could be unsealed. If she is unsealed and aids Boruto, she might have a method for getting rid of Momoshiki, Code, and Ishiki's Otsutsuki powers. She'd be a power capable of preventing more Otsutsuki invading, or she might travel the stars to hunt the "God" of Otsutsuki. I think at some point he needs to be in the story rather than just being a footnote because it seems that's what everyone is trying to attain is some kind of godhood.

Momoshiki once said the earth contains the most chakra that has ever existed or something. Around 15. "Anything above 10 should be reported the clan, that is the law" he said something like that. Reason the space carvature or whatever around it is breaking. So by now with all that has happened, with Isshiki, momoshki and kinshiki dying there, it's proly above 15. Whoever devours the fruit cultivated from Earth will def be op. 16:00 Makes sense Fr. The turtle popped up from nowhere. The only Otsutsuki there was Isshiki. Only he and Kaguya would've known about it before the others arrived. And he could've just messed up the whole Akatsuki plot and absorb the bijuu. Why not partake in that but instead wait? Makes a lot more sense of why he didn't do anything, he wasn't there. And we had the Uchiha, Senju and Uzumaki, more capable vessels since they already possess Otsutsuki DNA. He legit could've used an Uzumaki. He would've easily powered up and also use the Ghedo statue. While every Shinobi was in a war. Would've been so easy before Naruto's era.

i think the jogan might actually be Shibais Karma mark that he changed the form of, hence why many jogan surrounded shibai(we know people before boruto had the jogan) shibai MAY be creating these "eyes" and implanting them in people or other beings through out the history of naruto so he doesnt die, which also explains why the side of borutos face that has the jogan turns into shibais horn and not momoshiki's, considering how much more powerful we can assume shibai is, than it would be safe to assume that he can hide the karmas presence from momoshiki, which is why momoshiki says "those blue eyes of your will take everything from you" but doesnt know exactly what will happen. that would also mean that shibai uses the jogan as a means of spying or keeping watch over earth, which kinda of explains why Aida said that the power of omnipotence was used in human history before(someone probably did something that threatened the otsutski with the jogan before.... i mean the time skip is even leaning into the idea of changing the shape and form of chakra-based things(the ten tails) and even going as far as doing something with the rinnegan... its also possible that boruto just developed the jogan because his genetics but he would also need more genes from hashirama than he already has... also the other two otsutsuki may be aida and daimon in someway, its possible that they may have hidden karma marks, or carry the genetic code of the otsutsuki them selves considering their genetically engineered in someway, maybe they carry the memories of the otsutuki that visited earth in the past they may have encountered the original jogan user on earth and royally fucked up with the ten tails(being brother & sister they probably didnt want to sacrifice eachother) hence why aida says that history has been altered before... the jogan being a form of karma mark also explains why the jogan is black colored edit: boruto may be the first jogan user ever, if hes capable of time travel than that would mean theres a potential he was the shinobi in the background during the war, that would also explain why he said to code that he doesnt know the true horrors of the ten tails(ill explain what this may fully intail, keep in mind boruto may be able to time travel) when we got introduced to kaguya we were shown and told that the divine tree was planted on earth serveral hundred or even a thousand years before kaguya and ishiki arived, that would most likely mean that the two otsutsuki who had their symbols destroyed were the first to plant a chakra fruit on earth(those two probably being the otsutski where aida and daemon got their abilities from) so when boruto says that code doesnt know the true horrors of the ten tails he may actually not be refering to war in shippuden but the events that happened hundreds of years ago and we know thats most likely where omni-potence had to be used in the past, maybe the sibling otsutski didnt want to sacrifice the other to make the fruit so instead they may have found a way around it(either by sacrificing another member of their species or some form of ten-tails alteration like what code is currently doing) which would explain why the symbols were destroyed, running from the trackers of their species(people like urashiki) and could also explain why their genetic code was found on earth by amado(it has to have been found on earth because how else would aida and daemon have their powers) also explains why they keep hinting amado knows more than what he tells them, on top of that, it would POTENTIALLY mean boruto battles them at some point when he time travels OR that his existence in the past FORCED them to use omni-potence on everyone. also theirs potential that the other member of their species they tried to sacrifice was shibai himself at the time but they failed, which also means earth was probably the last fruit the three otsutuki needed to ascend to god-hood, which explains why shibai is now the god and why the siblings either died or went into hiding, they could have passed on later or during the battle(theirs also the chance that aida and daemon are actualy those two otsutski just generically changed by amado) this also opens the door for even more interference from Amado so at this point i think Amado is going to be the main bad guy for at least half of two blue vortex(or he'll speak up when he gets called out but we have to see)

You didn't point out something; Where did the Ten Tails come from? It's obvious that the Otsutsuki comes to the planet with a Ten Tails to plant it cause it's a seedling so where do you get seeds from? Also since the Ten Tails is associated with trees I think it's possible there's a planet that the Otsutsukis comes from that has a God Tree that distributes Ten Tails seeds and they use them to take over other planets. I'm sure there's an Otsutsuki King that was mentioned in the anime (probably the manga too) that they're doing this for.

I really hope this theory is true. It would actually be a good time travel plot. If not getting Kaguya, maybe going to free Zetsu and asking him things would be cool too. Sidenote: are Naruto and Sasuke still holding Indra and Ashura’s souls? Cause if they are, what qualifies as being Otsutsuki? I understand that they may or may not have a ton of Otsutsuki Dna, but they have 25% Otsutsuki souls. And we know souls and chakra are linked, so should they even be affected by omnipotence? I dont understand why they never came searching for Toneri to be fed to the 10 tails? Also why is that Toneri is the only one from the shinobis of the Moon that looks full Otsutsuki, just like Kaguya with no horns and the tomoes simbols in the skin in base mode before she consuming the chakra fruit? He was also recognized by Urashiki as Lord Toner Otsutsuki from the side branch of the family and was not killed because it's prohibited for Otsutsukis to kill each other. Urashiki also said to him that the main family is been watching him and they saw the incident that happened between Naruto and him and what he did to Boruto. I think there are 2 theories: 1) I think Kaguya was meant to be the sacrifice, and Isshiki was infact the one sacrificed. Or atleast half of him. 2)Or kaguya found the tree that Shibai planted. For the first, what if Kaguya fed the first 10 tails that Isshiki had with his own half? We know they fought and Half of Isshiki's body escaped, and planted in Jigen. The second theory, is that, the first fruit Kaguya ate was different, it was glowing, and it changed Kaguya alot. What if, Shibai planted that tree and then when he came to eat it he ascended to god status, leaving his body behind. That tree consumed Shibai's chakra and that fruit changed too, giving Kaguya more power. Think about it! Why would the Jougan appear on earth? Shibai had it, and it's improbable that it evolved on earth, unless it was absorbed by the 10 tails, then passed to Naruto by Hagoromo and in Hinata by Hamura's chakra, leading to Boruto. Since Boruto has some chakra from Hagoromo and Hamura. Same as in Himawari. She has more Hyuga appearance, so she may have the Tenseigan once she evolves her Byakugan. Anybody here feels the same?

I would say the biggest plot hole with the whole feeding thing is how did kaguya get the fruit when she never sacrificed anyone ? It just grew and she ended up eating. Tracking it was in a filer episode but still should hold some type of factuality. I feel like they’re just winging it at this point

Amazing theory: the time travelling of Jigen makes complete sense... I wouldn't know why he would disregard making an appearance during the Shinobi World Wars and try apply his karma to Madara, Hashirama or any other Uchiha/Senju/Hyuga. None of them probably could be perfect vessels but with the DNA they hold that is Otsutsuki is far more than a random monk. I, however, don't think Boruto has used the turtle to go back in time.. I think he has used Momoshiki's somewhat future sight abilities to garner access to what has happened. His cold demeanour in the 2nd chapter denotes a reality that he has seen and wishes to stop its inevitability... just like with the prophecy of him "losing everything". But what we will see is that the future reality what Boruto has seen will eventually come to fruition even with his intervention. I believe that even with eventual death of Code, the future with the Claw Grimes will come to pass, which may be the destruction of Konohagakure.

💫My theory is that Boruto is the new child of PROPHECY when jiraiya trained Boruto causing the future to change. Now the ten tails is the god that will bring about great destruction/god of destruction that the great toad sage/Toneri mentioned. It couldn't have been Nagato cuz he couldn't use rinnegan's true power nor was it Madara he was betrayed by zetsu before he could use his rinnegan & it isn't Sasuke's we saw how Narugoat handled business. There’s no way Kaguya is dead because if you think about it what is a sealing jutsu ? It literally says it in the name it seals a person in that moment so why would their life force be any different from the ceiling that is placed on them I think a ceiling preserve them in the moment in which you sealed them or after the ceiling is done doing what it supposed to do then seals them in time so she’s not dead and I hate it when everybody says she is dead because it’s like we already know what it looks like when one of them dies their soul extinguishes no longer moving on this earth or dimension she was sealed !
