Sasuke has a plan which is why he brings Boruto, the other Kage would never go against Sasuke or his decision. He is far more powerful than them and he has the only way of getting there. Him giving the headband to Boruto is a sign of Boruto being his student and Sasuke doesn't care in the least that Boruto cheated as he knew about the tool beforehand and he did a lot worse in the past. Also if you look back to episode 1 in the time skip part you'll notice he has Sasukes headband there too.

When sasuke was telling him there's a reason for him taking him to naruto it was him foreshadowing how the rest of the show and manga play out pretty much. Even if Sasuke doesn't know what will happen in the future it's still foreshadowing. I thought the same thing when I first watched it, but seeing Boruto where the anime is atm makes a lot more sense now.

FYI, Naruto took Boruto's headband but Sasuke gave him a new one. He also got the acknowledgement from Sasuke that he wanted from his father. This is one of the reasons Boruto admires Sasuke. It's important to understand these for the rest of the show.

Factsss. This is pretty much Boruto’s complex. Naruto sees Boruto as a kid and Sasuke looks at Boruto as a fellow Shinobi. And that’s all what Boruto wanted for Naruto to realize. This is a big deal because if Naruto looks at Boruto as a shinobi, he will definitively whoop him to extreme training. Pls keep in mind that they JUST started the academy, from Naruto’s perspective. If pnly he knew his son is a genius ahead of everyone like Itachi/Minato level. Imagine being Boruto, when your dad is the GOAT shinobi and he doesnt even teach you any tricks or jutsus or training regimens. You hear everyday how god like your dad is but wheres the evidence, hes been an office dude. Pretty sure a clone could have 5 minutes to tell Boruto what to train on or different jutsus or sage freaking mode or frog summons.

@r.aymonnツ I don't know. It's hard to compare new gen with old gen but as much as I understand, regardless of jutsu and strength, Itachi's thought process is so mature even as a kid. Boruto is different, we saw in the chunin exam he's not still that mature. That could be because of the peace era they're living. But in my opinion, Itachi is the biggest prodigy. After that we have Minato, Sasuke, Boruto, Shikamaru and Kakashi respectively.

Idk if you noticed but this episode hinted to the fact that Kaguya wasnt actually evil. She betrayed her own clan and stopped supplying them with chakra like what her job is supposed to be. She decided to betray them and begin preparing an army to fight off her own clan. I hope this whole things leads to a full on war against the otsutsuki and other beings from space which then leads to the possibility of kaguya being unsealed and helping our people fight against the otsutsuki. I always wished Kaguya would join the earth squad after hearing what she did.

Sasuke knows if Momoshiki uses some new jutsu, they might need help. That's why he is going to bring Boruto to fight. He knows Momoshiki absorbed Shikamaru's jutsu or there is a possibility maybe he has some other new technique so he wants Boruto to be there as their surprise element. Also Boruto and Sasuke trained a lot, the anime just didn't show that so he knows what Boruto is capable of. That's why he is bringing him. The same goes for Sasuke and Sarada, they didn't show them training but Sasuke also trained Sarada.

Sasuke, best father, best master... This moment when he gives his bandana to Boruto, it was intentional, just for Boruto to reflect, Naruto said that Boruto was disqualified as a ninja, and Sasuke gave his bandana, of renegade, for Boruto to see that even though he made choices in the past, (even though Boruto didn't know what it was), he was there today, being the Hokage of the shadows. Sasuke also did with Boruto what he expected from Fugaku, he encouraged him, said he was strong, a great ninja, for Boruto to see that even though he made a mistake in a choice, he didn't cancel the techniques he himself has. Even though he used the scientific weapon, he put it to good use, proving that it is of good use in the field (which is what katasuke wanted to show the people). He managed to use the weapon in a way that no one would notice, others wouldn't be able to do that, and Sasuke also noticed that. That's why I say that Sasuke has a much greater weight in Boruto's life, because in the short time he lives "with him, camping to train, etc., he managed to map Boruto's skills and know how to deal with him. forward in the anime it is clear how Sasuke understands boruto much better than anyone.

An interesting thing also about this moment when Sasuke says he lost to Naruto is to make it clear to the ancient peoples this discussion that he lost in power because he didn't lose in power he lost in ideology for Naruto. It will become clear at the end of this arc. . This discussion that Naruto is stronger than Sasuke is stronger doesn't make sense because if one of the two continued to be stronger than the other the reincarnations of Ashura and Indra would continue, for them to appear it was necessary that both of them had equivalent power, like yng and yang, so there's no reason to have this discussion about who was stronger or weaker, because if one of the two was stronger the reincarnations would continue. Sasuke was always more skillful, stronger, more observant, smarter... At the beginning of the shippuden, for example, Sasuke could have killed everyone there, but Orochimaru didn't let him. In boruto you realize that he has evolved even more... I won't give spoilers here... But Sasuke's resistance, he doesn't have regeneration, his resistance to pain and staying on the field. All post shippuden Naruto and Sasuke wars were won because of Sasuke's intellect and plans. In boruto (this was made clear in kishimoto's 20 years and Naruto interview), they want to show what Sasuke would have been without the interference of Itachi's lies, and of course, without Naruto's protagonism, but everything more realistic. So true, when Raikage A was introduced in Naruto I was shitting my pants cause of how strong and intimidating he was. This generation of Raikage, Mizukage and Tsuchikage feel like a jonin level ninja. Nothing special about them. No particles style, no lightning cloak with super defense and speed, no Lava style kekkei genkai

i think you have all the chapters underestimating Boruto and you are making a mistake, Borutoa with the age he is much stronger than he seems apart, he is the son of a descendant of Hagoromo and a descendant of Hamura, he has 3 elements without forgetting his special eye, I think underestimating him does not make sense. 🙄

Sasuke know boruto potential and luckly boruto have that godly damn eye so that eye can kill that otsusuki thats it...You right sasuke doesnt know that eye but this is student-teacher trust each other that is.Everybody was chilling because sasuke is strongest shinobi same like naruto and he is shadow hokage so everyone agree with him is not suprise.
