2:17 forgot she made here like 3 steps to catch so another -0.5 to execution 🥲 So podium remains the same like judges did,in my opinion Stiliana would win if she did like at Sofia world cup final! Her routine has so much potential but this time she wasn’t as clean as she can be,there were obvious mistakes,i feel like im gonna get hated cuz her execution is 6.7,but it is what is,it was a bit dirty she can do WAY better

Oh don't worry about hate! There are really "bad fans" who don't accept reality and hate everyone when it's not what they want. But as a bulgarian I can honestly say that Stili wasn't clean at that competition. In fact I think her routines are too fast so that is something that can make a gymnast to do a lot of mistakes in the rush. Darja have slower compositions so she have enough time to perform every element claer. And don't get me wrong I am not saying this in bad way, Darja really was the cleanest in Milan! There is some smart thinking put in her routines! And even if the faster routines are more interesting because it look more difficult (and it is for sure to perform in high speed) , it's also a bad decision because there are too many mistakes that can be done. So in Valencia it would be a battle for the cleanest performances! Sofia,Stili,Boryana,Darja and even Onoprienko have the difficulty, but the cleanest would take the gold! We'll see! That’s the minimal deduction for character! Like -0.3 means that they showed a lot of character,but there were still some movements that could be more artistic

Isn't the shape held exactly for 1 sec though - she starts at 2:10 and changes shapes at 2:11 ? Also about the aritstry score I have a question :D - both routines have small details that incorporate the music in an interesting way such as this one at 0:33 or the leg thing that's in tune with the music at 0:14 in Boryana's routine, and 2:16 + 3:02 hands in an egyptian pose in Stili's routine. How do these details count when it comes to the artistry score? When it comes to Darja's routines for example she has two dance steps and that's if for showing the character of the music, it's much more bland and unorсginal, so how is she getting the same scores almost as them? Again, thanks for your work! I think for this exact podium it was pretty clear that Stili wasn't clean, even people who don't understand much of judging could see she made tons of "small mistakes". As for Boryana I believe she is stil getting in shape for the WCH. I remember last year at the podium training in Sofia (before she got sick) it was clear to everyone that she was in the best possible shape - her execution was better than ever. Hopefully she achieves this again.

To answer your first question, we have to count the time from the exact moment the gymnast reaches a fixed shape. So while she started raising her leg to do a side scale at 2:10, it is not until almost 2:11 that she reached the shape of side scale and that's when we start counting 1 second. You can see that she did not even hold the side scale shape for 1 whole second (in fact it was barely half a second), and then she changed into backscale pivot which unfortunately cannot be counted because the minimum rotation required is 180 degrees from the moment the gymnast reaches a fixed shape.

Those moves to artistry means a lot for character part,and if some of those moves are in between the moves there is no penalty for rhythm or connection And about balance, when shape is fixed u start to count one second!

И на трите- Варфоломеев, Калейн и Николова давате санкция от -0,3, докато Клематис казва, че българките в лицето на Калейн и Николова са най- амбициозни да покажат характера на образа и дори санкцията на Калейн клони към 0,0, за разлика от Варфоломеев и Атаманов, които показват характера само в танцовите стъпки? Тази санкция напълно ли зависи от "виждането" на съдията или има някакви обективни показатели? Благодаря.

Atamanov doesn’t have character only in dance steps,atamanov is really connected and artistic, i gaved boryana and stiliana -0.3 for character because it wasn’t shown all the time there were moments that were empty and needed a bit more artistry. For 0.0 u need to be in character whole routine without stopping And even though i gaved boryana -0.3 for character i still got bigger artistry then official score
