I have a Bosnian coworker who fought in the Bosnian war. The dude's an old man now, clear in his 70s, but he's absolutely insane by our standards. I've been in a truck with him and he drives like he's still dodging Serbian artillery. One of our other coworkers says he's fairly certain our Bosnian coworker learned to drive by flying MiGs through the Carpathian Mountains. We all love the guy, he's absolutely hilarious.

My Grandpa, Grandma and many uncles served the bosnian army. They were part of the 5th Corps of the ARBiH (Located in the Bihac Pocket). One uncle of mine served the NOZB and he managed to escape from the country before getting caught for acts. My moms side served Bosnia, while my fathers served Fikret Abdic. Theyve all got stories from the war that are pretty interesting.
