thanks for this review I was just looking at this tool because I'm going to buy a kitchen island and putting it together myself I wanted a versatile drill and I knew Bosch is a good brand and I was happy to see this video from someone like you and now I know this is just the tool for me

This is my second Bosch angle drill. I lost the first one on a job and went out and bought another one. Very handy. Thanks for contacting me.

I need a drill to get into truck exhaust bolts to drill and EZ out...seems to work for that I would think...I use liquid dish soap to lube lag bolts...just wipes off.
@deerparkhomeshop24712 жыл бұрын
Hello Sheldon. Great idea using the liquid soap. Back in the day screw lubes weren't so available, so we would rub wood screws with bar soap for lubrication and it worked! Thanks for watching and for your comment.

Very much obliged Sir Will it hold a short bit? Stay blessed
@deerparkhomeshop24719 ай бұрын
Yes it will. It's a standard chuck so it's just a little trickier than using the longer bits.

You reviewed this angle drill and did not mention if it is a brushed or brushless tool?
@deerparkhomeshop24712 жыл бұрын
No, it's not brushless, and I didn't even think about that when I made the video. Thanks for your comment.
@sfgwl Жыл бұрын
I've searched the Bosch website and the manual for the brushed vs brushless motor specification but came back without an answer; Lowes indicates it lacks the brushless feature but it would be nice if the manual at least mentioned the brushes. Is brushed the default conclusion when they don't mention brushless?

HI Mate , the problem your having with bits loosening and dropping out is a simple solution that the should tell you. The trick is you chuck your bit then give it a few clicks as normal then you give it one turn back, that will lock it in place. try it out. most chuckless have this hidden feature.

Well, you learn something every day. I've never heard of this, but I am anxious to give it a try. Thanks so much for the heads up!

Mine came without any drill bits. Is that normal?
@deerparkhomeshop2471 Жыл бұрын
As I remember it just came with a charger and a battery. I also bought a Bosch drill/impact combo and that didn't come with bits either.

@@deerparkhomeshop2471 - Thanks! Mine came with battery, charger, and two screw driver bits. I didn't realize the drills were sold separately!
@deerparkhomeshop2471 Жыл бұрын
I forgot about the two drill bits. Usually if they give you extras they make sure to let you know how good they are being to you. Just bought a Dremel multi tool and they have pictures of all the extra stuff on the front of the box.

@@deerparkhomeshop2471- I may have to return it. The part when you can bend it up to 90 degrees does not seem to lock place. I'm not sure if I am doing something wrong, but it doesn't seem like it should be able to move without a way to lock the angle.
@deerparkhomeshop2471 Жыл бұрын
When you push in the button it will release the chuck to move that 90 deg. When you release the button it should lock into place. If its not doing that its probably defective.@@anonymouse-original

A GWI é mais potente, so que usa brocas sextavadas. 3:15

Please elaborate. I am not sure what GWI is. Is this a brand of drill in your home country? I used Google translator and I suspect what they translated is not what you actually said.

@@deerparkhomeshop2471 No. It's an end-of-year gift from employer. Anyway, I will ask if any neighbors can make usage of the battery which seems good.
@deerparkhomeshop24713 жыл бұрын
@@perfecthouse4270 That's a shame. You may already know this, but the battery & charger work with all of their 12v compact tools. If you ever plan on buying any of their other tools, it would give you a spare battery.
