Mine doesn’t self feed at all, it makes it a pain as I have to constantly manually readjust the line.
@EasyLawnMowing Жыл бұрын
How old is the trimmer? It should self feed with no problems when the trimmer is started. Do you have an original Bosch line installed or generic?

Hey mate just wondering can we use Bosch 18 v 6,0ah battery on this trimmer Thanks
@EasyLawnMowing3 жыл бұрын
Hi Rummy, no I don't believe so as the tool is designed specifically for a 36v battery. If you want to see my full review for more information see the link below - easylawnmowing.co.uk/bosch-advancedgrasscut-36-review/ Hope this helps.

Yes absolutely.

@@EasyLawnMowing thanks. Just actually got one. Excellent tool. Your video was a great guide. Had a go with the edging. I find that, as you can’t see past the guard, I’m finding it hard to stay on line between grass and paving. Guess I need some more practice.

Thanks for the Video, is it possible to fit a harness to easing the load on the arms with extended use ? it seems it is not part of the package
@EasyLawnMowing3 жыл бұрын
You could purchase a third party generic trimmer harness available on Amazon, but you would need to create a way of attaching it to the trimmer so it remains in position such a jubilee clip. There would be no where to attach the harness without this.

Really would like to know motor wattage based on batteries voltage.
@EasyLawnMowing3 жыл бұрын
Hi, so sorry I don't have this information. I will fire over an email to Bosch. Thanks
@WeaverJohnny3 жыл бұрын
It is not hard to estimate it. If it works 30min on full batery which is 2Ah of capacity, that means that nominal current is around 4A. Multiply nominal current with nominal voltage and you get something around 140-150W. Really not that strong comparing to full wired or petrol engine trimmers, but I hope it is enough, I would like to buy this.
@EasyLawnMowing3 жыл бұрын
@@WeaverJohnny Hi Ivan, thanks for much for your message and explaining how to calculate the approximate wattage of this motor.
@WeaverJohnny3 жыл бұрын
@@EasyLawnMowing I bought it, cuts better than I expected. It couldn't handle some really thick weed (1cm+), but it cut everything else without a problem. I just hope it's durable to last for some time. Not sure though that my battery lasted for 30-40, maybe it lasted 20min, but it was very though weed all over the place so I guess syneon chip is doing good job to give more power when really needed. I didn't want dissapointment with the trimmer, and for sure this Bosch trimmer didn't dissapoint me, happy with the purchase.

Which is best to keep the battery in the winter months fully charged or half or flatt for the next season
@drazensocec99974 жыл бұрын
This is a Li-Ion technology battery. So there is so called storage charge for keeping battery in a good health when not using it. It's about 40% of full charge. Do not fully discharge your battery in any circumstances.
@EasyLawnMowing4 жыл бұрын
Hi Drazen, thanks very much for your comment and advice, it is much appreciated. I completely agree. Thanks again Mark

Great strimmer until it found a piece of wire hiding in the undergrowth. The wire is now firmly jammed around the head. How the heck can I remove the head? Looks like it is held in place with a deeply set lock nut possibly requiring a specialist tool?
@EasyLawnMowing3 жыл бұрын
Hi Philip, that is so unfortunate. I have no idea how to remove the head completely, you may need to contact Bosch directly for advise as naturally this would not be in the manual. Let us know how you get on. Thanks

Hi there do you know if it's possible to change the dual line to a single line as I've found dual line tend to tangle and break easier
@EasyLawnMowing3 жыл бұрын
Hi Atif, I think it may be possible to run just with the upper or lower spool loaded, but please check with Bosch to ensure your safety and the safety of the machine is maintained.
@lfcmarkeb71244 жыл бұрын
don't think these spools can take nylon cord? don't they use twisted wire and are a constant feed and run out quickly?
@EasyLawnMowing4 жыл бұрын
Hi, yes you can purchase either pre-wound trimmer line replacement (1.6mm) or longer lengths of unwound replacement line. Yes you are correct, automatic line feeds do use more line than bump feed and sometimes unnecessarily. Many thanks
