How long can it run continually. What is the hourly thru put. How long before drum or blades need to be replaced.

@@lionelhaarhoff301 Hi. Your question has come through the wrong direction! You need to ask the chap who did the vid. However...after watching this I did buy one. I find I can run it for hours at a time just stopping to empty the collection box. I presume the frequency of blade changes would depend on the material being fed. My local repair centre (UK) said there is nothing that can really go wrong. I must say I think it's marvellous!

Can this shred wet material, like fruit and vegetables to make compost? Would this damage the machine over the long term?

It says in the review it will deal with softer stuff though more biased towards woody material Winston.

Hi, my hopper is sitting very firm and cant be removed despite turning red knob anticlockwise- any ideas as it has not happened before.

I watched the video on this product and it might be there is a branch jammed inside the hopper. Try reversing the motor and see if this helps to dislodge the hopper. good luck Lucien.
