Very nice tests, love it. but my experience with Bosch Pro is not that good. I had jamming up buttons, grinding gears, ... too often. So I switched to another brand and am happy now. Now Bosch has brought out the new series... curious how they will perform

The cases consist to a high percentage of nylon. That´s the secrect. These blue professional tools are produced with a similar material as modern automatic weapons. Bosch does not like to see pictures of broken tools. Don´t forget, there is an important competitor from Japan, Makita! I have got professional tools from both great companies. None of these gave up until today. That´s what I expect: A good tool always should survive It´s owner :))

+homes24 These are not real tests. This video is an advertisement. That's not to say that these tools are weak - I have a Bosch blue cordless drill of my own that I've accidentally dropped from 3-5m heights several times onto a concrete floor, yet it still works. I'm pretty sure that the drill would indeed survive the tests in this video (except for the one with the hammer) as none of them were particularly tough. Rubber tires have a lot of give, and the bricks in that wall were quite loosely assembled. If you want to see a proper test, you'll need to watch a video made by an independent tester. And unfortunately such a thing is a unicorn. There is no one on youtube that can afford to stress test a bunch of drills; there just isn't enough advertising revenue in that. There are some channels that test various power tools, but remember that all of those power tools are given to them by the tool companies, and if they ever want to see more of that stuff they can't make any of the tools look bad.

That is not enough abuse for a Bosch tool !!! I broke a lot of them, I'm way too strong. Tossing it around, tapping it with a 15lbs hammer (here and there smoothly by cutting off the camera at different angles), ramming it through a thin concrete brick wall, wont do much and I want to add another thing, you can't fool someone watching this video, the tool doesn't have any dents or scratches !!! Usually the problems come when you stall so many times the AC-DC universal brush motor when drilling, grinding, hammering... I broke drills over 3/4" diameters by holding the hand-drill with proper strength !!! I know when the tool starts to smoke like hell and the motor starts to heat up and burn to useless !!!

Same goes for me: my screwdriver fell off 2,5m high and the speed selector is now very hard to switch. I do not imagine this kind of test being real or at least not for all of their products.

The "Core 18v" are killer- I spent all day driving 1-1/2" self-tapping hex head screws into heavy gauge steel framing with the brushed Freak impact and it needed battery changing after about 6 hrs. One batt and like two bars off the second got me through the whole day. Then i dropped it off a ladder and broke it in two- warranty doesn't cover that. I'm currently waiting to see if the repair will be worth it or if I just have to get another.

Hardy har- I fell off a 12foot ladder with my 18v hammer drill in hand and sure the motor still ran, but the chuck no longer turned. Next week, (bad luck week) I dropped the impact off my belt fron the same 12foot ladder, it still worked but the clamshell was broken in half and un-usable! So yeah, this vid is a joke.

The sledge hammer I would give as a good test, the rest wouldn't hurt most tools. Brick walls are piss weak side on. The tests don't mean diddly when you use the tool normally and the chuck gives in though. Good for entertainment only.
