Preordered that little light-just delivered a few days ago. Epic game changer. I had the original version and it melted after about 4 years. Love the new one even better!

Sugestions to bosch. 18v framing nailer, 18g nailer, decent dab radio in the £100 pound ish range liqke all the competitors, combi dril with a rohm chuck with three speeds.

Agreed bosch is really missing the market on cordless nailers especially trim nailers.

Doug the piggy tool got me considering the Bosch tablesaw. Should I look at the mitersaw too? Or wait for the Hilti (loving Nuron).

I wish they’d make the samders and routers they have in Europe available here

I have a bosch advanced router 18v-8, it is from the green type of hobby tool, but it is excellent. I am very satisfied, I have a lot of professional tools, now I heard that bosch has new mowers as well as a better vacuum cleaner on batteries

i'm also holding out for a bosch US 18V trim router. the GEX18V-5N random orbital sander is excellent
@igormanja4 ай бұрын
@@TheRealPlato I am happy with that green version of the battery router. It's great that there is no cable, so I don't have to drag any cables. It has a lot of power, but it is mostly for cutting edges, not for some more difficult tasks.

I'm a Bosch guy. Always hoping for more 18V tool options. Looks like not too many again.

Honestly I regret investing In the Bosch 18v platform. Maybe In a couple years they can really step it up. They have a much bigger tool line in Europe I don't why it's not like that In the states.

I am also on the worst 18v platform in america :) Its ok though, they last long time and R built 4 professionals. :) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@@georgewkush542 I just don't understand how a whole lot of Bosch cordless power tools do not make it to your country USA in volume, like it is in Europe. Do you know why is that? I could never figure out how? Much respect

Their 2024 roadmap was recently leaked and shows "+50" new tools in 2024. Looks like about half of these are cordless. And based on a press release last year, they intend to take the US tool market more seriously, so I expect many, or maybe even all of the new tools to be released in the US. Some good things on that roadmap including 16, 18, and 23-gauge 18V nailers. One thing I'm less sure if they'll release in the US is their new 18V OPE, including a blower, string trimmer, brush cutter, and dual-battery (36V) lawnmower.

What I saw on that video is that the grinder shown on the beginning, the front of the battery practically touch the surface during the grinding process. That is not a good design. The tool must be designed to carry the battery more inclined so in that way, when the diamond blocks of the cup wheel start wearing and therefore reducing it height due to the use, the front of the battery will not have the problem to be scratched by the surface. The more of the diamond blocks are worn, the higher chances of the battery to touch more the surface because of the bad design of the battery bay. I noticed this issue on many of their models. imagine that you are using a cup wheel with smaller diamond blocks in height and to avoid scratch the battery, you must incline the tool and that will not have an even grinding since only part of the cup is touching the surface....Bosch must reconsider on redesign the battery bay holder on future grinders.

What about more tools for woodworkers, like a cordless router?!? Or EVERYTHING brushless? Come on Bosch, Milwaukee is eating your lunch...and kicking sand in your face...and taking your girlfri...I mean, all the woodworkers!

Dude, bosch's girl friend is literally at milwaukee, makita, and dewalts house like every day of the week. She even seems to be more interested in fuckin ryobi these days ? ....FUCK ! O_O -_-

I agree with your sentiment but it’s kind of world of CONCRETE.

Check out Bosch's UK youtube livestreams for new tools coming out. They are definitely releasing TWO different cordless 18V routers in 2024 as well as updating other woodworking tools to brushless (like their 18V planer). They are even releasing a new 18V biscuit joiner.

Yo ;p tell borsch to hurry up with the better blowers for america / canada. Bigger, a backpack option, brushless, ability to draw from multiple batteries at the same time ( not one at a time like other brands ). You can let'em know that i let you know to let them know to get right on that ok ? :) :) !!!!!!!!!!!!!! oooo also : A more accurate level sensor for their newest 18v drill ( the GSR18V-1330CN ), and fixing the flaws with their current best impact driver ( the GDX18V-1860CN )
@NS-gf2vz5 ай бұрын
Bosch recently released an 18V blower in Europe (as well as other OPE tools), model GBL 18V-750. Who knows if these will be released in USA though. The GDX impact drivers are homeowner trash that sell well for the novelty of the chuck. Check out the dedicated impact driver, model GDR18V-1860CN. It is much more compact and I believe more powerful in actual use because it does away with the dual chuck and its performance losses.

Surely ripping a 4x4 is a mistake ? Dont know of any 10 " with a 4" cut capacity

You just watched me do it!

Skil 10" jobsite saw claims 4x4 rip capacity but blade's just barely high enough. I wasn't able to do it safely so I ran two 1.95" rips back to back

Where are they made ? China, then I do not need one
@NS-gf2vz5 ай бұрын
Bosch is one of the only tool brands that still makes a substantial number of tools outside of China. Some are made in Malaysia. But a lot of their concrete tools (grinders, SDS drills) are made in Germany. Other tools are made in Hungary.
