Water tank capacity 15 litres 👍 I have see a few videos of this product but you’re the first one to show snow foam attachment in detail, did seam you put snow foam liquid in neat and not diluted as would be the case using Autoglym snow foam cannon. That Bosch snow foam attachment is well overpriced when compared to more sophisticated quick release cannons. Well constructed video 👍

Hi thanks for the water tank info. Yes i did try snow foam neat on the test. Ive since tried it 50/50 mix and it works just as well.

@@CB-RADIO-UK if the attachment does not fit, just check the spray setting of the gun! Because this only works with a spray position... with the other three, the attachment does not snap

I have one of these with the detergent bottle for SNOW foam which I use with AutoGlym polar blast, wash and seal. You mentioned it was difficult to attach, took me ages to work this out, there is one particular setting where the bottle fits flush and it works a treat you just have to rotate the nosel on the gun to get the right one, I think mine is a G1 machine. Rather annoyingly the male hose coupling has just started to leak so I have ordered a new one was amazed they supplier it as a spare. If it doesn't work, I would not hesitate to order another one, try to remember how old mine is and I think it was bought in 2017/8. I always dilute down the blast, wash and seal when using it, my car is a MK5 Golf GTI and usually I need to refill as it runs out halfway around the car.

Thanks Fred,interesting as always. I think it would be an easy task to MAKE a sealing washer for the snow foam bottle...and if you scour the DIY oulets you will probably find a washer/seal you could use.

The reason there’s no seal on the bottle is likely because it needs to avoid a vacuum being drawn. It only pulls detergent through using the force of the water flowing past so as the bottle emptied it would start to create a vacuum and less and less detergent gets pulled through. It’s frustrating but I get it. I get the feeling it’s designed to be a bit more like a detergent tank on a normal washer than a snowfoam lance. I think if it used the middle spray setting rather than the wide fan it would have a bit more force behind it to whip up some bigger bubbles. That said I love the unit, it works fantastically and is brilliant for me living in an apartment where I don’t have access to water or power at the car. I say it’s got the power or the spread of a mains pressure, but not both simultaneously. The mid setting on the gun is more than ample for most dirt and provides a reasonable spread.

Bosch is a good manufacturer the colour of the body is generally green for diy and blue for professional trades ie builders with a comparible price difference but you get what you pay for.
