I’ve had this drill for about a month now! I’m drilling 30+ 6mm holes into brick, block and masonry daily and I haven’t had to touch my sds since. It’s heavy for a combi drill at first but you get used to that really quick. Fantastic piece of kit! I bought this as a gift to myself because I didn’t really need it, but I can’t praise it enough, it is a 3 in 1 tool! Combi/ impact driver/ sds! If you have all three you don’t really need it, but it is impressive!

I agree mate it’s a very versified bit of kit and really dose do 90 percent of the stuff I need on site !

Thanks for the review: I have this; found the Chuck unlock much tougher than my previous drill. Also, if you don’t have the Bluetooth the user-setting works at 90 degrees out the box -which is much more useful than the 45 or 60.

Hi Lewis I have a similar size/power makita drill and the biggest problem I have other than weight in certain situations is that without the clutch you’ve got to let go of the trigger before the screws bottom out otherwise the screw heads just pop off especially with torx screws, as you say hole saws. Forster bits, and the occasional Masonary op is where these things shine…smaller batteries help portability but again smaller 12/14volt tools are more suited to kitchen work and materials..I’ll be interested to see how long it lasts when doing mainly high torque low speed drilling ops though my previous Bosch cordless drill suffered with regular trigger failure ( a much older model.!! ). comparison to similar units from other manufacturers or your own go to tools would be useful …👍

Hi Ian, thanks for your comment buddy, it’s really appreciated, yes I’ve had similar problems with big drills also in the past, you really do have to have decent bits with drills this powerful don’t you. I love my smaller installation drill for day to day work, I will be sure to do other videos in the future on this 👍🏻
