I like how the temperatures are relatively cool during charging and use. I've also seen tests that measure inside and outside temps under load, with the ProCore batteries indeed being hotter on the outside and cooler on the inside (10-15 degrees Celsius) than DeWalt, Makita and Milwaukee batteries. Apparently there is some truth to 'Coolpack 2.0', despite me initially having some doubts about the effectiveness of heat conducting plastics (since their conductivity is a lot worse than many metals, although apparently a lot better than the standard plastics used in powertool batteries).

Yes, Bosch has done very well with Procore batteries.

Thanks. Which product/board are you using to check the capacity of the battery, looks very smart.

can i charge a procore 8.0ah in a gal 18v20 or 18v40 charger?
Yes. It'll just take a long time (around 4 and 2 hours respectively).

sure, *20 charges with 2A, *40 charges with 4A. 2A is slower, but better for the life of battery. If you need to work and charge fast, use higher current charger, but if you have time, charge slowly.
