Bosch PSR 10,8 LI Not Charge Battery Red Led

In this video I will show you how to repair the Bosch PSR 10.8 drill. When connecting the power cable, the drill does not charge, the red LED lights up.

sooo pretty impossible to do without investing in special machines, and easier to replace?

I think you could probably drill a hole in the tab then solder it

Before replacing the batteries its worth trying plugging in and unplugging a few times to see if you can get a green light. What can happen is if you have not charged it for a long time the battery can get so low the Battery Management System refuses to allow charging. When you plug in it gets a few seconds of charge before the BMS says no and turns ff charging. By repeatedly plugging in and unplugging those few seconds can add up to enough charge to take it above the critical threshold and then suddenly the BMS says yes. This morning mine is now charging with green flashing despite spending all night with the red light on. Obviously at some point I will have to put new batteries in as per the video except I intend to solder them in. Thanks for the video, it makes the job so much easier if you know what to expect.

I have the same unit. But i dont know which is the problem, when i plugged in the charger the red led didnt light. U think it is the charger or battery?
