Why the Induction does not have safety off when water touch the surface?

@@BoschHome_SG_TH_ID Hi, my model is exactly the same as the one on the video - PXE67DC1E. My wife was cooking a meal and the water boiled over, the induction kept going even though there was water everywhere.

This model includes a feature where an alert will sound when water touches the control panel. If the water isn’t wiped away within 15-20 seconds, the hob will automatically turn off. How does the PXY675DC1E hob differ from the PXY675DC5Z hob? Is one the newer version of the other?

I’ve listened twice - no fake accents, unless you mean the voiceover man. The last lady has a dinky di Australian accent, but I can detect a tiny bit of Asian influence. So nice to have a local i/o Americans
