Yesssss i have really almost everything off Bosch Professional an now I bought the GCM 18v -305 GDC. With the GTA3800 an a 18v 12amp.. what a machine is this..wow..❤ But now I have to sell the gcm 8 jsl with the gta2600. I have to much bosch pros 😂😂😂

I hope Bosch would invest in the 36V platform again. All the competition has 36/40V tools and this type of saws would work better with higher voltage. Sometimes Bosch is just to slow to react.

The idea of the 18v ProCore system is that you don't need another battery platform. Bosch have done the comparison tests with other brands, ProCore performance is in most cases just as good, and if not, more than good enough. The two battery 18v to work as 36v has it's problems, not least that you the user needs 4 battery's & 2 chargers to run one tool, thats not working for me. Never say never, but I think it unlikely that Bosch will bring 36v again.

@@boblaw6534 From a commercial point of view I can even understand why Bosch was dedicated only to the 18V platform. But from an electrical point of view, heat losses in any electric motor increase exponentially as a function of the current consumed. Also the cross section of the motor windings is larger than in a 36V motor. As the tool market is evolving, Bosch will have to use at least two 18V batteries in series to power some demolition hammers or chainsaws, if it wants to compete in this tool segment. Another thing that should have already been launched is an AC/DC power adapter so we can power tools like saws with the mains.

So, Bosch UK website jist listed the new GST18v155 bow handled jigsaw, can't wait to get my hands on this. No price yet, also listed, the new GSS18v-13 sander, no price listed for this either, could you let me know what we're looking at for pricing on these please? also is the GSS18V coming with a carry case or cardboard box? the list details on the website say neither. Could we also have clarification on whether the base of the GST18V-155 fits the FSN-SA fitting the FSN series rails? I have this accessory and rely on it heavily, although it would be nice if the FSN-SA plate could be updated so that either the plate works where the splinter rubber is placed with a step to the other side of the plate to keep it snug to the cutting surface? I've noticed that my FSN-SA although it does a good job, takes time for me to set up a reference line by feel, so at times it's a hinderance rather than a help.

For anyone following the chat session, I'd like to clarify two areas for anyone considering buying the GTS18v-216 cordless biturbo table saw. Firstly, yes, the T slots are "Euro specification" 3/4" / 19mm slots, so they will support standard specification mitre fences from other manufacturers like Axminster, Kreg and INCRA as examples. Secondly, when it comes to performance, this saw pwerforms like the mains edition and is near to the GTS10 series but is not a 10" table saw. A question was asked as to what it performs like for ripping 2" x 6" and 2" x 8" stock. I can officially confirm that when set up using an Expert For Wood Ripping blade with a 12 tooth or similar spec, you can happily and efficiently rip through stock with an 8AH and 12AH ProCORE battery and get a job done. I was alerted to a video from Badger Workshop demonstrating the GTS18v-216 Table saw, where the reviewer stated the saw would happily run on a 2AH Coolpack 18v saw. DO NOT do this for anything more than 5 minutes or less as the battery will boil. I would never as a saw operator advise a new owner to use a 2AH coolpack battery on such a saw, they are not designed for that kind of draw. Saw Stands for the mitre saws, you can purchase the following: GTA2600 folding leg stand, GTA3800 Folding Leg stand and the GTA2500W wheeled stand with sliding rails. I use the GTA3800 with the optional transport wheel kit and it gets me out of particular situations, but I wish the GTA2500W stand could be improved upon for site use where large beams can be cut more effectively by making the support arms modular for monger pieces which can park on the stand in transit mode. I have a development solution for this. These stands will willingly support other manufacturers saws, but why would you want to have a bosch stand for something less sexy by another brand? Keep up the amazing work with these live streams, they are informative and really make a difference to either new customers, current customers seeking inspiration and clarity and those who need details on upcoming systems and projects. Will we see a demonstration video on the Bosch guide rail system, it's accessories, tutorials on replacing anti-slip and anti-splinter inserts, etc? This is something we discussed in Part 1 and the possibility it might be covered in Part 2 or maybe a later video. I do believe this would be a beneficial video for those looking at the Bosch rail system, which I'm a proud user of. A shame Lawrence wasn't there, maybe he should get a hair dryer on the seats of his car, just make sure no hair product gets used in the drying of his seats otherwise he may become a hair dresser :).

Hi Lewis, it was me who asked about the capability of ripping down 2" thick timber. I was just wondering because i'm looking to buy one, but still unsure whether to go for the cordless or not. As i'll mainly use it for ripping down a 6" x 2" down the middle, or whatever. So i was wanting know if the cordless version could hack that. I compared the corded saw and the 18v one, and although both the same size, shape, everything, and even 1,600 W motor power. The corded one has a no-load speed of 5,500rpm, and the cordless only has no-load speed of 4,500rpm. So does that mean it isnt as powerful? Would i be better just going for the corded? Obviously i understand the cordless is so much more practical to move around and set up, but its all about power with a table saw for me. I don't want it to keep cutting out if struggling.

@@clvgn My honest opinion based on your needs... If you're doing this day in day out and ripping stock all the time, then a mains table saw would be better. This cordless unit is for on site use, but I'm using it in an energy efficient workshop setup. I'm a blind cabinet maker and I use this as my only table saw. I had a metabo ts254 on loan until this saw came through the doors and I hated the metabo because of where the power switch was placed, it was frightening starting up each time and getting it to shut down, you couldn't knee kill it. I'd say the mains version of this saw would suit you, but I'll give you this, top speed isn't everything, 4000RPM and above that will give you a great ripping experience, the trick is the right blade. Personally, I hate the guard design, I really do. I prefer the old standard guards without side flaps or drops, just a guard over the blade with suction inlet so I could extract above and below the guard. I'm looking in to changing that. For your needs, if ripping every day, you'd need a high performance contractors saw or a dedicated ripping saw, if it's the odd ripping job over a few days, a 12AH battery with the GTS18V-216 will do it without hassle.

Can't wait for the new GAS18v-M15 series extractor. I had mentioned internally with a contact or two about solutions to this matter including connectivity and support for non-bluetooth devices. I hope someone took some of my ideas on, I know others have submitted similar or better ideas, so this is a positive step forward. I would gladly give my GAS18v-10L extractor in part exchange as for me, though a good general extractor, it's not designed for what I do and even with a ProCORE battery running, you can't really get the best out of it. Pleased that the new cordless brushless recip saw will be out some time soon. For me, the recip / sabre saw is a weapon in certain joinery applications, it's not just a demolition tool, it can be used with some suitable blades for joint cutting on large beams, etc and can make a significant difference. I hope to God that you are right about a new GOP18V to replace the current model. My GOP18V-28 died and I've never replaced it. I had a very scary incident with it and it's death indicated a serious problem, it was out of warranty, so the batteries were kept with the charger, but the GOP had to be sent to that toolbox in the sky. For me, Oscillating tools are a vital part of a blind cabinet maker's tool kit, I use mine as a surgical chisel if you like, so when I'm cutting particular joints, sockets, etc, that tool is vital, but there were weaknesses in the tool including it's overwhelming desire to speed throw on it's own in the middle of a cut, the speed control dial would shake itself and move, etc, so towards it's end, it got a bit scary to use. Sad really. I really think that we need to look at the GOP18V as a brushless unit / maybe biturbo using the spec of the top end corded starlock max tool, after all, when you have a cordless multi tool on site, if you're chopping in to a frame as an example, you need a long plunge blade, that doesn't exist in the starlock / starlock plus range and ideally the oscillation arc needs to increase to 3mm per side for better waste removal and efficiency of the cutting head.

Its going to be the GAS 18V-12 MC. I got my 12 and 15 mixed up with a different product. I forgot to mention that it's BITURBO which is needed to run a M class filter and retain the flow rate needed to operate correctly.

@@BoschProfessionalUK hmmmm 12l tank compared to the GAS18v-10L, I'd expect better than this for a machine on site, that's what worries me. is this going to use dust bags or is this like the 10L with a tank and exposed filter? those are a pain to deal with. I have the GAS35MAFC as a full shop vac because I noticed the GAS18V10L wasn't giving me what I needed for extraction with equipment like my sander, etc, so it only gets used for sawing when needed. If the GAS18V-12MC is going to cover my needs better, then I'd consider it and without doubt, replace the GAS18V10L with this. I just hope the accessory set is better. the 18V10L is a toy in all honesty, ok, great for a bit of clean up work now and again, but even with a 12AH Procore battery, you're lucky to get about 40 mins usage plus, not good on a site application. I've every confidence this new biturbo brushless extractor will do what I need, but the question remains as to how dust is handled, is it using dedicated bags, or is the drum filter going to get in the way, also is there filter cleaning built in?

Will the GAS 18v-M15 collection bucket be compatible with the 10 litre bucket ? It would be nice to be able get a larger collection bucket for my 10 litre thus saving me some time on emptying.

I was convinced it was a 18V-15 MC during the stream but I made a mistake. It's the GAS 18V-12 MC. I will need to check the capacity as I am not sure it's 12L. No information currently if the bucket will be inter-changeable but when we get a sample in we can check.
