Saw Boscoe at this Year's PRS Experience and watched him give a talk on playing slide. Amazing player but incredibly personable and friendly as well. The shaved head and full beard is a helluva look! And did I say "amazing player?" Oh yeah, I did!

The slide and acoustic jam are what put it over the top for me. Great showmanship and crowd interaction. Everyone wants to hate and try to tell people what the blues is and what it isn't. We all have soul and it shows in different ways and in different styles. Boscoe brings the soul in his playing. I have never seen him before and I enjoyed every minute of it.

ive seen alot of blues players id put boscoe one on one with any of them. he does a lot for charity not many guys would donate time to raise money for the disabled or cancer stricken children but mr france does supper dude. enjoy him we do . he's a gift from everyone to enjoy.

I participated in the 'battle of the blues' and spoke with the judges afterwards. They stated that their judging was based largely on what 'people like'. The guy who won my round went off playing some really crazy standard blues wailing while I played some slow coherent, out of the box licks. This was not a 'who can change blues' contest, but who can play standard blues the best right? besides it's a contest and how ridiculous is a 'music contest' anyways. Music is art, not competition
