not in the same genre, but to me it's one of those rare movies that encapsulates so many genres. I think of Swayze's "Ghost" being part comedy, romance, thriller. The Blues Brothers ropes in action, comedy, musical. it seems the art of Hollywood taking a risk and giving us something artistic is long gone.

Cab's Magical transformation to "Back in the Day" and Aretha wearing her slippers in the diner, and John's cartwheel I could go on longer than the movie's run time! This was back when Horriblewood actually produced GOOD movies that EVERYONE wanted to watch. This is one of the greatest Musicals of ALL TIME! Thank you, Producers, Writers, Stars AND Crew, especially the shot of the crew at the end was genuine CLASS! As a matter of fact, I'm going to rewatch the movie right dang now!!! Haw, Haw, Haw, Haw!
