I have the 600 with 2 subs and two extra rears and it’s extremely powerful fills 25ft x 14ft room with ease at 40% volume the 650 sounds a lot thinner the drivers in the cube speakers are bigger . I have a monitor audio system with a denon amp with two Rel subs costing around £8,000 and this system gives it a run for it’s money . Hope this helps any potential buyers .

On playing DOLBY VISION, my UHD, and Blu-ray players, all have two HDMI Out. 1. i connected my newest HDMI cable (doesn't have to be really expensive) to HDMI Out No.2(or Sound Only) to the Lifestyle 650. 2. On HDMI out number 1(or Main)for Picture (Video)i connected the newest HDMI Cable directly to the HDMI input on my Television (bypass Bose). Yes , you can have DOLBY VISION on Lifestyle 600 or 650, just use Bose for sound only.

Right now I have the lifestyle 535 and before that the Bose 700 soundbar I have second thoughts of going back I love the audio separation of it but the 700 had the phase guide what gives you an atmosish feeling that the my 535 does not have, does the 600 or 650 has phase guide ? For some height feeling ? Perhaps then I will switch to the 600 or 650

How would you compare bose soundbar 700 + sub with LifeStyle 550 ? Is it worth money ? I had to return soundbar 700 as it soundsnot good if you listenening music. You have feeling like all sound comes from one central speaker except bass.

I have a BOSE Lifestyle 48 Home Theater purchased 8 years ago which works perfectly fine. Such BOSE home theater is also a CD and DVD player and it was connected to an old Samsung TV through RCA ports. The BOSE does not have HDMI ports…only RCA I just purchased a new Samsung QLED 4K TV and wish to connect the same BOSE to it, but such TV only has HDMI ports and not RCA I highly appreciate to receive your advice about the best way to connect the BOSE to the new Samsung 4K TV and be able to watch my DVD’s on this new Samsung 4K TV I was told needed to use an RCA to HDMI converter, which I just hooked up. Inserted a DVD in the BOSE console, but just getting a blue screen on my TV I tried to connect the HDMI cable in all different HDMI ports on the TV and same thing...just getting a blue screen Honestly, I do not want to get rid of this old BOSE Home Theater which has an amazing sound. Thanks in advance and waiting for your kind advice.

Thank you! I believe so, though i've never tested it myself. Hi Frank, can you do a video which more focusses on the wiring for both the 600 & 650 - specifically the connections (bare wire or Bose connectors) showing both ends ? The reason I ask is because I have an old lifestyle V35 system currently and I have speaker wires already channelled into my walls which I would like to utilise if I can - what are my options ?

Yes the 650 is a lot better. The center channel is awesome for dialogue. And the system is clearer with more detail and high frequency response.

The 650 is just better all around. Higher frequency response and more open for sure. The unit sounds best with the SoundTouch app or KZbin if you are listening to music. External sources parched into the unit don’t sound as good. For movies this system is just amazing.

Can I have multiple satellite speakers and put them in other rooms like this is 5.1 so can i buy more satellite speakers and put them in different rooms and have them all synced all together ? I am from New Delhi, India, so if you could also suggest me a store and if anyone can assist me on this ?

You can buy WiFi enabled speakers from Bose that will play through the SoundTouch system.

Thanks for the review, i am looking at buying the LifeStyle 600. Do you know if this system is compatible with a games console? Would i still be able to use the speakers if i plug my Xbox straight into the TV.

No problem! You should be able to use it with a games console though your TV but sadly it's not something we have tried - it may be worth asking around just incase, but i don't see why it wouldn't work. :)

Bose does not care after you pay, my unit cost usd5k in 2015. When contacted all Bose did saying they will release an upgrade soon, which does not make sense as issues has been going on for more than 10 month. Sound familiar, another way of giving excuses after excuses. Personally I regret buying, Bose does care!!!

Did you contact the retailer you purchased it from? If you have any problems they should be able to sort it if it's under guatantee, most Bose products are covered for 24 months by the manufacturer and if any faults with the system are found within that time they should look at your unit and replace it if needed.

I find this Bose system "shit" i tried calling Bose to assist with problems and they cannot help. The system alternates between the HDMI ports automatically and often does not recognize the input. I have a simple setup, DVD and Direct TV. The Samsung TV works however when I select Direct TV and pass it through the Bose I get picture but no sound. Its obvious Bose is not customer centric. Perhaps you can assist. Thanking you, Michael.
