Yes, next to the Bose 700 no comparison. Also Bose will never do a 7.1 system. 5.1 is considered by most the best surround system anyway. Who wants to deal with additional speakers. Not me. And if you were to place them in a sound bar you run into logistics anyway. I hear they will not support these systems so the bashers just need to get over it.

Plus no Atmos which isn't really a big deal but all the new equipment coming out is using that as selling point making the Bose system feel outdated for the price.

From what I’m hearing the 600 & 650 maybe the last of the Lifestyle systems. The market has shifted to Soundbar’s. This is all sales dependent so I hope this is not the case. Kpaceguy I have two subs and it’s good. I’m planning to put this in my bedroom and get some bowers and Wilkins speakers. I have a high end Martin Logan sub. My bro has like a 30k system. My bro bashes the system all the time cause it’s bose but he hasn’t really listened to it yet, I still think it’s pricey though without the new codecs like dolby vision, atmos, and dts x. Who would you pay four grand for this outdated Childrens toy of a home theater system. No atmos. No dts x. No 7.1. Little tiny speakers that do blend well with the sub but they don’t qualify as actual speakers. You can do so much more with that amount of money.

Definitive technology has a 5.1 setup for about $900 that will blow this thing out of the water easily. And I got it used for around 350 and I've had it for 7 years. Bose gets away with this because of their incredible marketing and also they perfectly place their speakers anywhere they are sold. Half the battle with speakers is placement and room acoustics. So it might sound incredible where they are but when u get home it will sound like shit. Lots of customers that send the system back
@Banana191295 жыл бұрын
If you are buying a budget or luxory home theater better buy something like yamaha, pioneer recievers and speakers. I've faced hdcp issues with new bose sorround system. They would'nt even provided any device had hdcp2.2 and they simply said to buy new bose system(and new reciever's are freaking expensive) as old recievers are not compatable with the hdcp security etc. you cannot even buy third party recievers as the bose's speaker wires will be compatable with bose reciever only. It was such a pain in the a** process.

When I first set up audessy on my Denon x1200h it definitely sounded muddy, but that was because the calibration was wrong. Did it again and set it to l/r bypass instead of reference and sounded amazing as usual

Checkout my video for my Lifestyle 650 demonstration. I would appreciate it. I paid around 3400-3500 for mine on ebay. Overall great system. I use it every single day. Expensive, but the size of the omni jewel speakers helps with my room size. I don't have that much space on each side of my TV. Audiophiles will say it's overrated. But I think it's a very solid system. Although a bit expensive.

@azmiamin1116 жыл бұрын
I have this system and it is quite true... all the mid bass goes to the subwoofer since those small omnijuwels speakers can’t play that Low frequency... But I have both of those sub and it does help to eliminate the localised of the sub and I place the sub diagonally one on the front right corner and one at the back left side near wall for more bass... I can tell you for the size of the sub it is really not bad... You can not only hear but feel the subsonic bass which previous Bose bass module can’t produce... I test the KZbin frequency test and those sub can really play low around 25hz... But I do feel the upper mid bass is missing though which is bad...
