Can’t thank you enough! I called Bose they sent me the ear pads for free when I said never buying Bose again! Horrible to install. Heated with hair dryer and used the credit card trick. Two days of fighting these! Till I found your video!

We have the same and another on-ear headset from this brand, sadly, we always need to replace the cushion every year because the humidity where we live is just so high and it makes the covering deteriorate so fast. And yes, putting a cushion back is so challenging. We just also bought pairs for both at Lazada.

It helped me to dislodge the one side of the earpiece by prying it off the pivoting point using a flat tool.. I'm not saying it's a good idea (you could break the plastic) but in my case I was able to do it and I had more control once the earpiece was no longer anchored on one side. After I had the pad in place, I had to carefully put it back in together.

Blackdog4818 it’s a slow and careful process to install the foam. Need extra patience to hold it in place. Be sure to remove all traces of the old ear cups. Also remove the hard plastic from the new ear cups. If you bought it from original Bose, please contact them and check if they can install it for you

I did call them in Indianapolis, and they said they couldn't do it. And if they tried, they wouldn't pay for new pads if they ripped them. Great customer service.

Just replaced mine. Here's what we learned. 1. Instructions from Bose are worthless. 2. We used a butter knife to tuck in the plastic ring. 3. The plastic ring you are tucking into the groove is EXTREMELTY TOUGH, don't worry about ripping or damaging the ring. 4. we used a small needle nose pliers to pull the plastic as we tucked it in. 5. Use a large rubber band to wrap the Left or Right speaker to the headset out of the way while you are working. 6. If you order one set of cushions, order 2. Bose products are great, and your cushions will wear out again. I use mine daily in all weather conditions, the few bucks to replace the cushions was worth it. But trust me on the instructions.
