Started out thinking these were not going to fit my on-ear Bose headphones but finally realized when I had pulled off the original ear pads the plastic lip with a small amount of foam had been left in place. Once I got that old stuff out of the groove between the ear phone and the ring that the pad fits over it went smoothly. The video was very helpful... thanks!

Pulling on the leather (fake) part and not the rubber rim was the BEST advice and made all the difference in replacing my pads. I came SO close to giving up. Thank you.

These ear pads are way better quality than the original Bose. I purchased a two sets expecting to change them out within 6 months. Two years for one set as I am a light user. The rim failed and the face is still near perfect. Highly recommend Accessory House product. 👍🇦🇺

This was brilliant. I got it on but didn't notice the 'plastic bit.' I was doing it right but didn't trust that it was right. This tutorial was as good as an Applie Genius Bar session. Sure, fiddly, but that was Bose design fail. The replacement wasn't entirely easy but it was simple. Without the tutorial I never would have trusted that it was so easy. Saved so much money. Thanks.

CAn't give AHG enough thanks for this video. I had purchased the Bose pads and found them impossible to put on my headset. No help from Bose....thank God for my friend Google which ultimately led me to this video. Ordered the AHG set...got them in less than a week and had them on my headset in less than 5 minutes. I just got my AHG replacement pads from Amazon.ca and with this video, the installation was very easy. The rim around the pads is quite strong and fairly easy to stretch over the earphones. I'm very pleased with this purchase and look forward to many more years of enjoyment from my Bose headphones thanks to AHG.......Take care, Bluefin.

I have 2 sets of Soundlink OE's. I used AHG pads for the first OE replacement. It was a little frustrating, but it worked. For the second set of OE's I ordered the original Bose pads. It was impossible. After two days of trying, I finally threw them away and ordered another AHG set. Thanks for the small, but significant changes you made to the pads.

I like the design with the slightly stiffer and shiny rim that sits in the slot. After watching the video took less than 5 minutes to fit both sides. Lets hope the durability matches the design.

Oh geez, that is terrible. It is unfortunately the fault of their ear pads. They are very hard to get on because of the material they have used on the back and how much of it there is. Which country are you in?

Accessory House . I am in the USA. The Bose replacements for my OE2 clearly are smaller than originals. But the box indicates they are for the OE2. Bose quality control issue here.

@@stephens7107 the pads on the headphones are installed at the factory and when you take them off you can see how the back skirting is stretched over time. The new pads are not stretched and the skirting is too big. Makes installation really hard. Same issue for oe2, soubdtrue oe and soundlink oe. What a pain for the headphone owner

I was able to do insert these without the video.. it worked for me inserting from the sides (instead of the tops). Only recommendation is the QR code picture does not scan/pick up well with the camera.

Yes my pads needed replacing and I sent them to the Bose service center and instead of just replacing the pads they would charge me $75 for a new headset. Had I known what I know now I could’ve save a lot of money. I now have three Bose headsets and just bought all the pads to replace that I need it. Total cost $33.

The problem with the Bose ones is that they are too tight and don't strech easily. I ended up using a tool. took me around an hour to do the first one. I'll bet that in the factory they use a tool or a jig. Given how hard it is they should provide a tool ... especially given the price. Next time I''ll order one from Accessory house.

Yes, they must have made thousands of these ear pads as they still have not adjusted the the back skirting on their model. It is quite difficult to install them. You have to pull enough that it makes you uncomfortable!

Just received mine and the installation was fairly straightforward, however despite only gripping the leather portion the welding between the plastic and leather ripped on the left replacement pad after the first few pulls. Not super happy with this because I took care to follow the instructions here super close :/

2 weeks ago I- bought on EBAY BOSE SOUND TRUE ON EAR HEADPHONES in white.. the ear pad is coming off. The inside of the earphone looks exactly like the one you are replacing in GREEN above AHG OE2/SOUND TRUE... the BOX AND ZIP UP CASE does not have a mode number or any information other than Sound True. Thanks for the instructions but, in beginning, it will best if you don't hold your camera sametime that show us the products. As you made after 3:15. Also, you don't need to place the pieces in front of the lens because your camera don't adjust the focus and we see nothing better but have an headache of all these movements.

@@accessoryhouse I have AHG pads. I cat get the pad to stay in the slot so I can work around the earpiece.

@@tjlee22 Ok, try bending the skirting back so it creates a lip and get one side of the ear pad into the slot (it needs to be a side, not top or bottom). Then use some electrical tap and tape this part of the ear pad down the side. That will help keep it in place and the electrical tape won't leave a sticky mess behind. You may need to wipe the pads a bit but nothing crazy.
