Thanks for the review. I ultimately chose Bose as I got unfriendly ear canals that don’t get along with most in-ear earbuds. Bose one gives a good passive noise seal and sit comfortably for hours. ANC is amazing, not as good as over-the-ear headphones but close. You are right that it’s not small, but it’s light and I don’t get to see how it looks when it’s on my ears so it doesn’t bother me. Call quality is just like what you said, guess it’s good enough. Overall I am very happy with getting the Bose one.

The sennheiser have deep bass and a decent soundstage for a tws but the frequency response is actually really weird. The highs are really rolled off and the mid range is dipped but i guess people like they can be eqd. Out of the box, the bose are objectively tuned better with a flat, balanced frequency response.
@humanmale10854 жыл бұрын
@@jatnierdorta firstly, you can use your phones eq if you need to, secondly a flatter response doesn't need eq, its actually preferred by most audio enthusiasts/audiophiles.
@humanmale10854 жыл бұрын
@@jatnierdorta im not saying they are, only using it as a point of reference, explaining that a flat sound signature is generally accepted as a good tuning, even by the standards of audio companies who specialise in high end gear. In that regard i find the bose signature very respectable but its worth mentioning that although the bose are tuned rather flat, its not reference quality and has a little bass emphasis and tiny adjustments to keep it consumer friendly.
@humanmale10854 жыл бұрын
@@jatnierdorta I understand some users want to eq, both iphone and android have a built in eq, thats always an option but for those people it would be better if bose had it in the app, i understand that, i don't think it's a deal breaker though. I think bose is hesitant to have an equaliser because they really utilise dsp to create that bose sound with the flat response, slight bass emphasis and smooth(slightly rolled off) highs. They've become known for it over the years. With an eq, people start changing that and they lose that bose sound that they strive to achieve. Companies like jabra and jaybird etc aren't known for their sound signature, so an eq makes sense for them. Im actually a sennheiser fan, i have the hd600 and hd800s and i didn't like the momentum 2, it had glimpses of the sennheiser sound but not what i want from the brand, it really was tuned to be eqd, so most people listening to those buds don't really know the true sennheiser sound. But its what modern consumers want, so it makes sense, but i also understand why a company like bose might not want their sound signature messed with. But judging from the comments they may have to adapt to survive in the tws market.
@irfanpatel984 жыл бұрын
@@humanmale1085 i agree to a certain degree. However I don't understand why they don't provide a basic eq (like my bose system in my audi) the ability to tweak the treble/mid/low, that's all. I do think bose are struggling software wise compared to the likes of Samsung/Apple as they are an audio company and not software. Although the sound on bose or sennheiser is by far better their connectivity/seemless operation lacks considerably...this audio companies really need to focus on software! Especially when Samsung now own the Harman Kardon and parts of B&O too....

I have the Sony for over a year and I was anxiously waiting for the Bose model. Kind of disappointed with Bose, I was expecting more. The pros are that they stay inside the ear very well even when I am running, Sony always slipped out when I got sweat inside my ears. Bose headphones stay powered on longer than Sony, much longer, about 5 and 1/2 hr on full charge but that's about all. My ears hurt if I keep them for full 5 hrs, there is no equalizer in the Bose app, the touch is many times not recognized vs Sony is spot on. Connecting to bluetooth takes longer than Sony ( almost double time ) and for some reason the worst part is that they are useless for phone calls, the other caller is so muted that I can't hear anything even with the volume all the way up. Sound of music is ok from the box, pretty much on the same level with Sony's. ( using equalizer setting on Sony's) The noise cancelling is little bit better on Bose headphones. I don't mind the size of the carrying cases at all, Bose looks better but it is pain to open it if you don't have long finger nails and if you don't press the button exactly in the middle. Sony is possible to open with one hand using thumb finger. Thank you for the review of Sennheisers, I may try to buy them to see how they compare to Bose or Sony.

It always seems like bose is a step behind competitors. I love bose and the sound and anc and comfort but that's where the love ends for me. Media controls suck, case is massive with a battery life that isn't impressive. It seems like bose is always behind their competitors with battery life. Both the qc35's and 700's have a sub standard battery life (20 hours) compared to the sonys which usually can last 30 hours with anc on. The 700's was supposed to be the new version but it has the same battery life as the qc35. Why??? I know this video is about earphones but my point is that bose doesn't seem to recognize what people actually want. They just make a product and expect everyone to buy it because it says bose on it. And why can't both earbuds be used independently when so many other cheaper options can?? Why can't they pay their software developers to add an eq?? Why can't they add play/pause/volume control? Seems like these earbuds were made for 2015. The thing is, comfort is a massive for me so I still might end up getting the Bose earbuds simply because I know I would have trouble with all the other options in this video (I have tried them). It sucks though because I want the performance from the competitors.

You say the bose holds only up to 18 hours of play? Honestly after owning them for 4 weeks, i have only had to charge the case 1 or twice and i use the crap out these earbuds. the case holds its charge very well, I also own a pair of bose sports (the previous model) and its case does not hold a charge. If I go a couple of days of not using them the case will lose its charge over time. I'd say they definitely improved their battery life

Aviral Mahajan They're fantastic. I had the MTW1s when they first released, they broke last month and I've been using the MTW2s since. They sounded great from the get go but I missed that signature wide sound stage from the originals were known for. Great news is it seems to be fixed with the newest app update that released a day or two ago, there's a new option called "High-End Sound Tuning" and from what I can tell/remember it seems makes the sound stage *very* close to, if not exactly like the originals. By *far* the best truely wireless earbuds on the market from a sound standpoint which is arguably the most important thing at the end of the day.

I have a question to those who have the QC earbuds and an Android phone (I have Samsung Note 10 plus). Do the earbuds lag when you play a song on Spotify after just connecting them to the phone? The situation is: - I connect the earbuds - open Spotify or KZbin - play a video or a song - nothing happens for 2 sec - the sound is heard from the right earbud first and then from both - then everything goes smoothly until shifting to another app (form KZbin to Spotify or even Samsung music app and vise verse) - when shifting to another app, then the same problem again. Thanks in advance guys

I disagree with the sound quality assessment here. I own all 3 Bose QCE, Sen TW and Sony XM3 (as well as Bose SSF in the past), the Bose sound the best, Senn 2nd and XM3 is 3rd, no need to mention airpod here. About the battery, the assessment is also misleading. The battery with ANC on actually Bose perform better, remember XM3 and Senn adv 7 hours when ANC off, when ANC on they can only run around 5 hours more or less. BTW Senn build quality is crap, the buds will not last very long. However, I do agree that value wise, XM3 is by far the best for the price.

Hi ..really good video...i am in a precarious situation...so i wanted to ask you if you can help me out... I want a pair of Good noise cancelling earbuds and if i have to pay a hefty sum then obviously i would like a good music experience too... so it all comes down to sony xm3 senheiser momentum 2 and bose...so i wanted to ask you: that to a student(not interested in phone call quality i have air pods pro for that)) who wants to block surrounding noises as well as construction noises(to some extent like to push it away if not suppress it) ..which one would you recmnd...is bose earbuds best choice in terms of portability and earbuds category ?... Now other question is if bose earbuds is the best choice then does it compete with bose qc 35 II also? How much is the difference between the two(obviously bose nc 700 and sony xm 4 is of the same price range but i am interested in paying more for earbuds than headphone and qc 35 II is cheap)... does qc 35 II really worth compromising portability or there is not much difference between the two... Thanks

For the ANC... in a very noisy environment it doesn't matter ones which you use. For earbuds it's subpar compared to an over-ear headset anyway. I think the Sony does an excellent job cancelling noise when you're in a noisy environment if you also have the volume fairly loud. If not, then less so. While on the move outside also a bit less so. Anyway, if you have a lower budget, I recommend the Sony. If you're willing to go all the way, go for the Sennheiser.

Fantastic review! As an AirPods pro owner the Bose didn’t cut it for me. I returned them today. You were right about the Bose putting way too much emphasis on vocals and snare frequencies. So much it gave me listening fatigue. I even would notice distortion at high volumes. The bass is better sure. I went back and forth on the Bose and airpods all night and everytime I went back to the airpods I noticed a more natural inviting sound signature. The Bose came off too harsh and icy to me. I also found the bose uncomfortable and untrustworthy staying in, again switching back to the pros I felt so light and free

Returned launch day airpod pro's as I had a faulty bud that wouldn't charge correctly. Swerving replacements as while the ANC and comfort are great, sound quality was not and reading up on "Rattlegate" it looks like they have a hardware design flaw. Now own the Sony WF-1000XM3 and very happy with them, except for weight, but had to try the Bose QC buds. I use Spotify with EQ, boosting bass and treble for Hip-Hop and Drum & Bass. The Bose have slightly better ANC making them best on the market. The treble and mids are super clean and bass is good, but not Sony good. I find the Bose eartips a little uncomfortable because the wings on them are touching alot of ear surface so become irritating. I'd argue they are very slightly better overall than the Sony's but my WF-1000XM3's are all paid up and are almost as good as the Bose so think I may return.

@@HecatombRecordings the sonys are definetly better if you want to eq especially with the bass. Personally i prefer a more neutral sound so i enjoy the bose more, its all subjective though.
