I just bought these last night after moving into an apartment with a stomper upstairs. This is my very first noise canceling product and I am BLOWN AWAY. You can adjust the noise canceling via a control bar in the app. When you turn it all the way up, you cannot hear anything. I was slapping my mattress for a bassy sound and I couldn’t even hear it. Took out one earbud and the sound I was making w my hand on the bed was very loud. It’s an amazing product. I will say that I was disappointed in sleeping in them. It’s not super imposing, but it is a bit bulky with your head against the pillow. I had to carve out a little dent in my pillow w my hand to reduce the pressure but it was still a little bulky. I experienced NONE of the heaviness you did in terms of feeling it would fall out. Mine are super snug. You also need to rotate them back once in your ear. Download the app and follow the instructions for fitting. They absolutely do NOT slip and are NOT heavy. Thanks!

Just got a set of these tonight from facebook market for $65. Awesome earbuds. Its comfortable for me and they dont feel heavy. Ive always like the clarity of bose over beats. But i havent listened to the beats ear buds yet. So far this was a steal for the money.

As a Bose fan, I have no doubt they are awesome but the sheer massive size of these is a deal breaker. I went with the Beats Pro for work because I want to be discreet. When Bose can shrink these down to the size of Beats or smaller, I`m in.

You should have talked about the size of the case a bit more 😅, “gigantic”?. It looks better than the Beats case and easier to find in your flight/weekend bag. If the left ear felt secure, maybe your ears are different? If it was an objective review, you perhaps could have tried the other tips?

Yes, these most definitely are the best noise cancelling earpieces for music listeners of jazz, blues and classical. Forget Soul, Reggae, Hip HOP and genres similar to what I mentioned, and also reggae. Why? Because bass orientated music is not Bose’s speciality but if you listen to Jabra, Sony or even Bowers &. Wilkins and even Sennheiser there is a clear difference in the low frequencies. I wanted to mention reverb. I simply need to identify it as much as the midrange in my recordings and Bose do not always go that deep, but their midrange is recommendable provided recordings are crisp… I have used all the aforementioned earbuds and Bose wins hands down for blocking out sound but cannot go as deep as the Sony and Jabra do. I actually love the size of the Bose qc. But the smaller they are the better the fit inside the ear.

Bought these and the sound of my music is great. The comfort is very nice. Only issue is on phone calls. Sounds great on my end but my callers are getting hit with background noise when in a vehicle. The level of noise is unacceptable. I’ve heard it myself and it is just terrible. I would only recommend these for listening to music.

I have these and I have the Apple Pros. The Bose hands down has better fuller and richer sound. For listening to music, I mean really listening to the music you can’t beat the sound of the Bose. The case is a pain in the arse. Noise cancellation is superb. I have two dogs so I have to vacuum every day. When I wear these with the noise cancellation on my shark vacuum sounds like it’s being used in a room down the hall with the doors closed. But, if I’m outside walking the dogs on a windy day, even with the noise cancellation on, the wind noise is distracting. The Apple Pros actually do a better job of blocking wind noise, because they are smaller and fit closer to my ear. The overall sound of the Pros is good, good enough just having background music on while you do other stuff. If Apple could step up the bass they’d have a killer product. However, if deep bass is not that big a thing for you, listening to acoustic, jazz, talk radio or podcasts Apple does the job. Although even hard rock is OK with the Apple Pros, but the Boses is better. As for travel, I find I reach for my Apple Pros, the case is so small and easy to put into a pocket, it’s a no brainer. Plus my iPhone and Pros use the same charger, one less cable to pack. Something else I like, Bose has more touch controls, on the buds, sweep up/down to change volume, tap to pause or advance songs on your playlist or to answer calls and switch from active noise cancellation or go switch to ambient sound. The Apple Pros is touch control is limited to pause or switching from transparency mode or active noise cancellation. BUT, with “Hey Siri” you have full control of the Pros hands free. And yes you will get looks from people when they hear say, “Hey Siri turn down the volume 20%” but when it’s cold out side or your working with both hands it’s a nice feature. Sorry this has gotten so long. Personally, I like the Bose for working in an indoor environment, like a work space in my home or studio, someplace I’m not moving around much. Someplace where I can leave the case setting down and there is not make wind. But for being on the move, being outside or in situations where my location will be changing or I’m doing things where sound quality it’s not my top priority, I tend to grab my Pros.

Bose is probably the best earbud for sound and clarity as well as noise canceling. If you can stand the bigger case these are the ones to get.

@@TechVisibilityVideos for music Bose are hard to beat. They definitely have a fuller richer sound. More like full over the ear headphones. But for phone conversation or listening in noisy environments, I don’t like them as well. And wind noise, even with the quiet mode, noise cancellation on, wind blowing over them is a problem. Anytime the wind is blowing more than 12, 15 mph or more, the wind blowing over them is very loud, annoying loud. Plus taking phone calls, is annoying I can’t hear myself very well, and find I remove one to make and carry out a phone call. In noisy environments. In windy environments the Apple Pro does a better job. Plus taking phone calls is better, I can hear my own voice and people have reported I sound better when using the Apple Pros. The smaller size of the Apple Pro makes it preform better in windy environments, there is less wind blowing over them because of the smaller size and closer fit. When I travel intend to take the Apple Pros with me, that smaller case fits easily in any pocket. Plus it’s the same charger cable as my phone, so one less thing to have to carry around. Sound wise, the Apple Pro is more than adequate for podcasts, watching movies and acoustic music. When on the go, I find I reach for my Apple Pros more often than my Bose QuietComforts. But if I’m listening indoors, working at home or in an office setting, I prefer the Bose.

Recently purchased these and I'm really liking them so far, for me the noise cancelling is superb had it on in the GYM and all I could hear was my music the noisy equipment the radio all blocked out happy days :) which is what I wanted them for, They also fit me perfect my right ear feels slightly looser than my left but they stay in place and don't fall out. Sound quality hmm early days certainly out of the box I thought they sounded terrible too harsh and bright for me you definitely need too adjust the EQ that's for sure but think I've got them sounding more too my liking, also the new firmware update you can't lower the noise cancelling it's either quiet or aware mode unless I'm missing something. The case is big yes defo not for pockets but easily would fit in a backpack. For me the standout on the QC Earbuds is the noise cancelling and the fit.

Compared to say the Beats Fit Pro the case is huge and the audio is on par. Some people like earbuds to take everywhere in their pockets so case matters. Size does matter 🤣😂 🍆

I’m really kicking myself now because I had the opportunity to get these when they were $199, but I didn’t because my sound sport still works. But I would need to charge them after about an hour of play time(I’ve had them for 4 years). I hope these go on sale again, because right after the sale, my earbud case broke. The top comes completely off(still charges headphones).

Sound can be adjusted with equalizer in the bose app to suit your preferences eg more bass. Aftermarket ear tips are a must from amazon as bose stock ones do not fit all and a common issue. There not heavy as per say but I do like knowing there in my ears as common complaints with airpods is lost and people didn't know they fell out Atleast with these you will notice if it should pop out.

​@@Food-is_Life Nah, I actually ordered them from Amazon and received earbuds with white logos. Then I checked the manufacture date (2021 June). I was wondering so I asked them send me a replacement. For some reason, they send me older earbuds (manufactured in 2020, march) and they have grey logos. In short, the recent earbuds have white logos. If you have the earbuds, check the manufacture date.

I had the black ones but didn’t noticed the difference in colors but I returned them for the soapstone which I thought is beautiful with the pearl shiny look to it. Almost look like an oyster with the big clam shell case and when you push the button it opens up slowly and presented with some pearlescent earbuds. Just gorgeous. How do you like yours so far? When I returned the black ones I didn’t like them after updating the firmware to 2.0.7 and felt that it took away the bass. But these soapstone ones are really good and I have all 3 sounds back amd the bass is nice and clean. Also how does your ANC work with the new firmware 2.0.7? I feel it’s good but I believe the wf-1000xm4 are better in ANC. I’m still able to hear my heater blowing standing next to it compared to xm4 where its almost silent. But you play music and with the rich high class Bose quality it makes up for it. I guess what I’m saying is it cancels out surrounding sounds but not constant sounds like a heater or AC. What do you think, would love to hear your side? Also Can you chime in too @Techvisibility? Thanks

Maybe you could help me....first, I'm not very techy. I'm looking for a pair of wireless ear buds that can be paired with an MP3 player. I will strictly be using these for music only. Mowing the lawn, going for a run, etc. Is this Bose product for my intended use? Is the noise cancellation feature with this Bose product enough to mostly cancel out the noise of a lawn mower? Or, do you have a better recommendation? Any help is appreciated. Again, I will not be using these for phone calls, meetings, etc. Just looking for a quality ear bud product (not overly complicated to use) for the above use with an MP3 player. Also, I'll need to buy a new MP3 player, as my current one works for wired ear buds only. So, if you have an MP3 recommendation, I'd appreciate that as well......thanks in advance.

I havent on a TV, but did on an Ipad. Here is the thing, each TV has a different Bluetooth adapter and a lot of TVs have older bluetooth technology. So if I tested on a new Q series TV and you have an older model, there would be a lag.

Not true. I've done jumping jacks, burpees, 3 Mile Run and Crossfit with them. They do not fall out. That's what I like about the Bose, even when they had the wire ear plugs; the wing tips stay in your ear.
