Steps to fix your device.
1. Remove the ear pad on the Left side.
2. Remove the four screws that hold the speaker cup in place
3. Disconnect the ribbon cable that connects the speaker to the mainboard
4. Take a photo of the wires on the main board.
5. Desolder the top two rows of wires then take a photo of the last row and desolder them.
6. Remove the T6 screw that holds the headband clip into the speaker cup.
7. Push the swivel out of the side of the cup then carefully pull the main wire through the other side
8. Remove the two screws in the bottom of the hinge
9. Carefully remove the hinge swivel from the headband being careful to not lose the small metal pin that will fall out
10. Remove the main wire from its trough in the swivel then remove fully, the old swivel
11. Install the main wire into its trough in the new swivel making sure to set the length of the cable so that the previous crink in the cable from the 90-degree turn at the bottom of the swivel is in the same place.
12. Install the metal pin then push the swivel into the headband and install the two screws.
13. Twist up the main wires before sliding them back into the speaker cup then clip the other side of the swivel in place.
14. Clean up the old solder joints then one at a time, using some solder flux on each one, and reconnect each wire.
15. Reinstall the screw in the swivel.
16. Reinstall the ribbon cable for the speaker then install the speaker cup with its four screws.
17. Reinstall the ear pad.
18. Get back to jamming out 🎵
