Some wires can influence the sound a bit. Being able to remove the cable and having a variety of different ones is definitely nice. And as I said earlier the stock cable isn’t very good.

I threw out a pair of these headphones after the wire broke. I wish I had know about MMCX connectors and this mod. I'd still be using them
