Bose sound dock series 1 repair faulty volume.

I was given a iPod classic plus Bose sound docking station. Neither worked. I put a new battery in the iPod but the Bose wasn't working. Turns out that the wiring strip wasn't connected to the docking station base as per your video. Easy to fix and now it all works as new. So assume this was never connected correctly upon manufacturing as it was always temperamental...sorted!

Nice easy fix..your lucky most of these old sounddock 1's have dead capacitors under the heatsheild..(the silver surface mounted ones)
