Bose SoundDock 10 - great performer, nice bass performance, mids are clean and lifelike and the highs are nice and not overpowering.
Sound quality = 5 star
Bass = 4 star
Mids = 5 star
Treble = 5 star
It is truly one of the best Ipod/Bluetooth docks I would Recomend it to people that like great lifelike clarity that is not over powering and displays notes like no other iPod dock.

Thanks for the very nice Greetings @Andry Zarraga I'm not sure that this would be compatible but if it is turn on the Bluetooth and your SoundDock and TV, the SoundDock may become visible on the TV. I would suggest getting a phono "red and white" cable to aux jack cable, the phono cable should plug into the back off your TV were it says audio "output" and then the aux jack cable can go into the aux jack "input" on the SoundDock.

That's ok, and thank you for pointing that out, here is your answer: Well they booth sound great, there is no real quality difference unless your an audio professional, but the Bluetooth is very strong and great quality, as well as the docking port. so there is no real "BIG" differences :) Hope this helps. In the bottom left hand corner I have a laminated light ( A circle with a line at 12.00 ) can you tell me what this is/ None of the other ones that I have light up. I can press any button on the remote and it goes off, but a few mins late it comes back on...

That would be very hard as there is a video output in the back off the SD 10 but I think the device has to be docked for this to work, I don't know if the lightning to 30 pin adapter would allow or even be capable of working with the SD 10 but it could work. Yes, the connection works. Sorry it took 5 years for someone to answer this. That was my only issue with the SD-10 was I bought it about a month before iPhones switched to the lightning connector AND 32 days before BOSE came out with the SD-10 Series 2 that came with an included Bluetooth connector!! I was pissed because BOSE has always done this type of thing. They’ll come out with a great product but they always seems to be missing that one feature that could really make it a really great product but if you want all of those “new features” you’ve got to buy their new generation of that product. BOSE usually doesn’t get all of the bells and whistles ironed out until their second or third generation of products so it makes all previous versions obsolete!! I paid $699 US for my SD-10 that was equipped with the 30 pin connector. Just over a month of ownership Apple changed to the lightning cable connector so the only way my over $700 investment could be enjoyed was to A) buy a 30 pin to lightning cable adapter which completely changes the entire aesthetics of my system because it raises the iPhone about 2 inches above the SD-10 docking station and then it’s not a very stable and secure connection so the weight of my iPhone bends the docking station connector up against the SD-10 and vibrates when it’s at a medium volume!! I have to put a soft piece of cloth or toilet paper between the back of the phone and the grill of the SD-10 to protect it so it doesn’t have any wear marks on the grill! B) use the auxiliary cable which defeats the entire purpose for buying this damn thing C) purchase the additional $125 Bluetooth docking station because my first generation SD-10 didn’t have that capability!!! What a damn joke! BOSE should’ve offered first generation owners a discounted Bluetooth option because the series 2 version of the SD-10 included it at no additional cost!!! I’ll admit the SD-10 kicks ass!! It has some serious balls to the wall performance but BOSE really should’ve included Bluetooth in ALL GENERATIONS OF THEIR $700+ SD-10s because we all paid a premium price and should get a premium product. When BOSE came out with the SD-10 Bluetooth was on every thing and had been for about 10 years so it’s not like it was a new technology. Apple does that crap as well. When they came out with the first generation iPhone it was a game changing product but it was missing that one thing that could’ve made it better and that was 3G. If you wanted a 3G iPhone you had to wait a few more months until Apple released it. Companies like BOSE and Apple have always done shit like that. It’s a way to get the consumer hooked and keep spending money on more upgrades.

this may be the wrong place to ask but do you know where or if I can get a replacement 30 pin module or better yet if I can upgrade to the lightning connector w/o getting a whole new system? I am currently using a bluetooth adapter but it would be nice to know if they sell replacements, also a replacement grill mines partially dented.

i would recommend contacting your local Bose dealer to arrange the sounddock to be fixed professionally by Bose them self. :)

Hello friends , I had one of this and I ended up selling it because when I played any songs it always had a second pause /lag like every 1-2 min it Will pause for a quick second. Is this normal ? I couldn't stand it anymore , specially when I had parties . My guest were surprised that such an expensive speaker Will lag AND freeze.

If you are playing on a phone over Bluetooth just make sure no others audio sources in the phone, wants to reproduce audio at the same time. If this is not the case, then connect at the back an auxiliary cable (in Bluetooth source) and slightly move the cable connector (plug 3.5 mm stereo ) If happens again, needs to replace the special auxiliary jack, (comes with an switch aux detector input) I hope and your problem is solved.

i purchased the sound dock 10 from bose store bangalore phoenix mall last week & this week its there in service center. Audio out put issue!!! i couldn't digest how a big brand like BOSE approves a product without proper QC. I've identified this problem while playing the music at MAX volumes. It just screws & producing disturbances. Let me see what will i get this time? BOSE please please dont make the customers feel bad about your product at the end you're charing so much pls ensure the quality
