What great helpful vid! Im in the market for a new system after using 2 powered JBL eon speakers and a mixer for the past 15 years. This will help me with 2 vocals and music source thru the Tonematch and Bose L1 Im looking at. Now I can regulate channels and not worry about running out of room in the mixer! Thanks very much!!

So when I do this, I get a lot of popping and crackling all of a sudden. I’ve tried 2 different USB cables, no difference. When over bluetooth direct to my speakers, no pops or crackles. What do you think might be wrong? It’s driving me crazy because i love doing backing tracks through USB because they are (otherwise) so clear.

Not sure why but when I select channels 4/5 left and right for the PC to usb it doesn't work. The display says the change was a success, but still running thru master only? Thoughts? Thanks a bunch

Hi I too want to play tracks thru one (4/5 channel) SO- if I'm using my USB c out of my Ipad, (it's the new Ipad pro) thru the mini headphone adapter and then want to go to 4/5 as ou've done - do I still choose "USB from PC Preferences."

last week I had to play backing tracks from my phone going through the T1 mixer, I used headphone output from phone going into channel 3 on the mixer, everything was fine until I decided to charge the phone too while it was connected to the mixer and boom! it short circuited my phone and channel 3 on the desk! I had to get a new phone and also channel 3 is not working now, just a loud hum!

Nashorncare Support Hi, if you are looking for a really nice karaoke solution I would recommend the Bose l1 s1, which is the mid range for Bose live. Of course you would need this tone match, our friends love it and it’s built for live sound. Those AV receiver are not meant for live sound, and play karaoke will hurt your speaks. Trust me, I know. We have friends blown many speakers. As you can see I’m Vietnamese and most Vietnamese families own a karaoke machine :) and as far as I can tell, Bose delivered the best quality for a compact. Keep in mind I’m not saying Bose is the best, because by far is even close to other high end speakers like Martin Logan, etc. but for LIVE karaoke with a compact and sound great for small party I have not seen any karaoke machine better than this. There is one issue, it a bit expensive. You are looking at $2500 (include tone match). have fun singing !

Hi Dave, good question. You'll probably need to go into System Preferences -> Sound -> Output and set the output accordingly to route to the ToneMatch mixer. Hopefully this fixes your issue. if the ToneMatch doesn't show up in your output list, check your USB connection.

My phone is my only way to video record, but I'd really like recording STUDIO from Tonematch, mixing board or S1 instead of PHONE mic that picks up background noises being three feet away from my guitar and mouth.
