So pleased to find your candid review of the Tefal Dual Easy Fryer and Grill, as have had mine about 3 weeks and you have confirmed what I already suspected that it is slow to cook and the temperature setting only goes upto 200°C. I was shocked at how long chips take to cook, which quite frankly my big oven, which is a Siemens, can cook them quicker! There are other annoying niggles about this particular Air Fryer, which I'm very disappointed with. Add to that the useless, confusing instuctions supplied, which aren't many, makes it a disastrous purchase. No wonder, they've enlisted Jamie Oliver to endorse the appliance and plug it for Tefal, as that was why I went for this particular Air Fryer. I doubt Tefal would have sold very many, had they not had Jamie Oliver pushing it!! Not happy at all with the overall performance of this make and model of Air Fryer!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience Maggie and backing up what I had concluded, it will definitely be helpful for other people considering this to read about your experience. Even if you have had it a while it would be worth contacting Tefal to feed this back, you never know what they might offer…

Hello. I am in the market for an air fryer. I love how you describe your videos as I am totally blind and I think you do a great job. I need an airfryer that can connect to my i phone using a screne reader called (Voice over) which is built in to the phone. I have found a Phillips 7000 xx or xxxl airfryer, however, evan though I have gone to several retailers in melbourne australia, they will not plug it in to connect my phone to it to see if it is accessible. Can you please tell me if you have used the above unit and what you think of it? Keep up the great work. Cheers. Michael
@CandidClaraАй бұрын
Hi Michael, I am so disappointed by the retailers you have visited! This is such a basic request to see the abilities of the appliance you want to buy, perhaps the truth is they don't know how to do it? The XL which I have reviewed is not a fully smart air fryer, you can only see recipes in the app, you can't program it from the phone so I don't think that's what you are looking for. Several of the Cosori's are smart though, is it a dual drawer model you are after?
@Mr500musicАй бұрын
@ That could be true that they probably don't even know how to do it! At the moment, I'm not sure if I'd prefer a single or dual drawer, but what is the biggest one that you could recommend by Cosori?

That would be the Twin Fry (I’m not sure if it’s available in Australia though) it’s a model with one large drawer and a removable partition and it can be remotely controlled via the VeSync app

I don't get it... Why are you making the smaller part of the meal in the larger room? I would be making a small portion of meat in the small room and a large amount of the important non-meat stuff in the large room. I don't get how you can make the mistake of switching the two, I need twice as much of potatoes or veggies if not more compared to meat in my meals, I don't think I've ever had a situation where the meat was the larger part of the total meal.
@CandidClara5 ай бұрын
In this video I actually cook sausages in the small drawer and vegtables in the large. I would presume people want the flexibility of the larger space to cook meat so that they can cook joints as they contain large bonmes which you don't eat and so people can have the leftovers on later days
