I am not an Egyptologist, but my impression is that the space was sacred to the Ancient Egyptians which does not explain the respective isolated inscriptions they allegedly carved both at Karnak’s Temple of Mut and at Hatshepsut’s mortuary temple. The rest (of the respective) columns are empty. Could someone explain this to me, please? Thank you.

The statues were made from Granite? How incredible no wonder they lasted so long, the people knew exactly how to discover granite to have these statues last.
