Adapa would be related to verb, whereas Gudea would be related to numbers as he was told by Nisaba, the goddess of writing to build the Eninnu for her brother Ningirsu "according to the sacred celestial bodies". The temple is an imago mundi, it sets in bricks of clay the rules of the world that the lord of the land must know to measure to kingship = somehow he is the "pontifex maximus". That is why the brick is sacred, it must reflect the perfection of the world through its shape and dimensions. The brick is very carefully brought in a hemispheric basket that is another model of the Earth. The model of the EARTH, the boat, is the MA which means "boat" and "to name". The image is very powerful for the world is shaped by language, MA. In the basket MA lays the brick with the dimensions of the Earth. Their entire cosmogony is a "mise en abîme", it is incredibly modern. They have a perfect notion that everything is tied up to a cosmic dimension. The quantic physicians are in the same eternal question : how can we modelize the various dimensions of our environement from the infinitely small to the infinitely great ? Thank you Mr Tinney for this interesting lecture.

Absolutely absorbing and captivating lecture about the two types of knowledge. knowledge of castle building and the knowledge of the return to the norms of the pre-flood era (knowledge of the seven sages, mentioned in the Puranic scriptures,9000-1900 bc and the vedic literature 4000-1900 bc). The flood seems to have occurred before Gigamesh and even around 2100 bc the Sumerians were grappling with what existed before. Almost like a lost civilization. But Sumeria saw many floods and the pursuit of knowledge seems perpetual. A parallel, yet unrelated story comes to mind. The city of Dwarka had along relation with the Sumerians where the myth of 'Sindbad the sailor' and perhaps the land of Ziusudra (preserving the knowledge lost in the flood) where the Yadava tribes were proudly claiming Prithu preaching the knowledge of 'scientific agriculture and the knowledge of commercial trade', reflects the close bond with the Indus civilization, hence the story of Sindbad who must have sailed many times up and down the Sindhu (Indus) river carrying valuable goods for the kings of Sumeria, besides many other stories [like the story of Pururavas (sun of the Puru) and Urvasi (resident of Ur)].

By 1892 Professor Archibald Henry Sayce (Oxford University) was proposing that the Hebrews had recast Adapa into Genesis' Adam in the Garden of Eden. By 1898 Professor Morris Jastrow Junior of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, had proposed Enkidu and Shamhat in the Epic of Gilgamesh had been recast as Adam and Eve in Genesis. The Adapa and the Southwind story was first found in an Akkadian (Babylonian) version, whose main characters are Anu, Ea, Adapa, Tammuz, and Gishzida. In more recent times (1990s) the Adapa account has been found written in Sumerian and has the characters rendered as An, Enki, Adaba, Dumuzid, and Ningishzida. The Sumerian version has the Adapa event occurring after the flood has destroyed the earth. In myths Enki is credited with creating mankind. The god An is also given the same credit as well as the god Enlil of Nippur. Another myth credits female gods with man's creation, Aruru and Mami. The gods have made man to be a gardening slave. He is to care for their city-gardens in the midst of the uncultivated desert plain called Edin in Sumerian and Seru in Akkadian. The gods planted their fruit tree gardens to provide food for themselves, they have bodies of flesh and can starve if they have no food to eat. Man will care for the gods' gardens and feed them the produce in temple rituals. Man is portrayed as a naked gardener in Sumerian art forms, presenting the fruit harvest to the gods to consume. I have written two books on this in 2010 and they are available at Amazon.com, (1) Eden's Serpent: Its Mesopotamian Origin, and (2) The Garden of Eden Myth: Its Prebiblical Origin in Mesopotamian Myths. Click on my name, by my photo, for my KZbin videos on the Bible's pre-biblical origins as recast Mesopotamian and Canaanite myths, based on the finding of archaeologists.

@@jamelcrawford2815 Yes I 100% agree. I have come to the same conclusion myself after reading and going through a lot of this material. I've read many of these comments and most of them miss the mark when it comes to the "true" narrative of what took place in the earliest of times when the "Sons of Anu" first came to Earth and created man to do the things Mr. Mattfield states in his books. This knowledge has really changed my outlook on mankind and the institutions we've created and hold so dear both political and religious. Crazy that we are test tube babies created by an older more advanced race to perform their manual labor as well as worship them as gods.

For some reason I am drawn to this subject matter intensely and I have spent the last several years reading and researching every bit of information I could find. I have not read your books however but I soon will. Your comment aligns perfectly with the storyline I've put together from all my research. The names, time-frames, etc. are all spot on to what actually took place those many many years ago. My one question has always been how they lived so long. I do believe as you say they were mortal in that they needed to eat and could be killed in combat for example. Yet the Sumerian Kings List clearly states these gods lives for Tens of Thousands of years. So what technology or food was it that allowed them to live so long? Whenever a "god" is depicted in a carving he is always holding a pine cone and basket and wearing a horned head piece. I wonder if the items they carry somehow show this capability? Thoughts?
@jamelcrawford28154 жыл бұрын
@@fit_pharmd4830 I don't think we are just test tube babies exactly, the thing is the Anunnaki or Sons of Anu could of created any other beings, brought beings from their world, use artificial automated robots to do a bidding but used man. No keep in mind they have a lifespan of 432,000 years but many came before them... In the Egyptian Mythology they talk about the boat of Million Years which sounds like their Nibiru Planet. I believe in Nibiru planet but I don't believe it has its own sun, I think the Anunnaki make an artificial sun equivalent to to a red Dwarf, but the thing is astrologists and other scientists would have long detected another sun within the vicinity of our Solar system closer than Centauri but haven't. Also I believe that the Anunnaki not only lived for hundreds of thousands of years but had the ability for immortality if you look at the Rig Veda and its stories of Soma carrying the ability to prolong lifespans or the Hebrew traditions eating from the Tree of Life they definitely had the ability for immortality.I like to call it Transbeing-ism instead of Transhumanism.

I suspect the fish-priests are recasts of Adapa, a priest who was a fisherman, who got dumped into a lagoon with the fish, who cursed the wind for tossing him out of his boat (he was fishing to acquire food for his god Ea of Eridu. Adapa was famed for being wise and a sage. He served fish to his god, Ea (Sumerian Enki) daily. He also served water and bread which he baked in a nearby oven. Adam, is in part, a recast of Adapa. Both are famed for possession of forbidden knowledge or wisdom and they serve a god famed for wisdom/knowledge. Both are are denied immortality by their god. Adapa (an Akkadian name) is Adaba in Sumerian. His residence is at Eridu in the midst of the Sumerian Edin. Enki/Ea is famed for being man's creator, making a garden of fruit trees in Edin, warning a man to build a boat to avoid the loss of human life in a worldwide flood. That is to say, Enki/Ea is being recast as Yahweh-Elohim in the Bible.

Plato told us: You know only one flood, but there were several and more will come. Ancient books and pictures tell us that our planet suffers from a cycle of disasters that are causing a huge flood. Every few thousand years the ninth planet of our solar system, orbiting in an eccentric orbit around our sun, approaches the sun and crosses the ecliptic planes of our planets with a huge speed. This crossing causes a natural disaster from unprecedented magnitude. Worst effect is a huge tidal wave of water that is pulled all over the earth. Many areas are flooded. Some species become extinct, mankind hardly survives. After the disaster the earth is covered with a layer of salty wet mud, a mix of sand, clay, lime boulders and the remains of land and marine animals and humans. This layer is horizontal because of the water that’s all around. After some time, the water evaporated and a hard layer remains. We now know this planet as planet Nine or X. It has many names around the world. Nibiru is one of them. Much more information about the recurring flood cycle, the re-creation of civilizations and its timeline and ancient high technology can be found in the e-book: "Planet 9 = Nibiru". It can be read on any computer, tablet or smartphone. Search: invisible nibiru 9

So which explanation do we choose, Enki wanting magic to remain on earth or Enki tricking Adapa not to be immortal, anyone?
@Llkc604 жыл бұрын
Enki created Adapa to be his agent in the human world. He created him more in his image as his "broad knowledge was bestowed upon him", knowledge not available to most humans. Something was not said in the lecture as it would be considered an assumption without evidence. Apparently Adapa has such power that just by words he is able to stop the wind for 7 days. Enlil (so holy not even other gods could lay eyes upon him) later the king of gods, god of wind(!) sees a mere human being able to put a halt to his power! The solution is to add him to the rank of gods, and suddenly the humans are lacking an extremely powerful ally. Enki needed Adapa on Earth to help him with his work. (like perfecting creation). Also it 'feels' like Adapa would have received immortality for the wrong reasons, not for his deeds but to tilt the playing field towards the gods from humans. (There might be some trickery here, as Adapa would have accepted the gift of immortality, however i think then he would not have been able to reach the true potential he was destined for by Enki.) Also keeping magic on Earth ( and it looks like Adapa was crucial otherwise why keep him from eating form the food and water of life) requires Adapa to be present among humans, suggesting that he would be sent back each time after he dies. (does the ring a bell on the myth of Sisyphus?)
@VibrationsfromMirror3 жыл бұрын
Only a GOD can kill a god (Planets?) On Ea-rth, EA IS IMMORTAL, right? So, he would be still using the information with a few "broad understanding" KIN-line to control. Or, others also descended after the flood, more than one ship up? there. Ninhursag cried and was regretful. < what's that after impact comet trails? They also came back, I think it was to Nippur, or Sippar. Promethius came to mind during his talk, punished for "bringing the fire" = knowledge? Yet, we have the Upanishads. < = later Portuguise > U-Spain shad. We may get word expansion from this as they seem to have almost taken over the whole world but were forced to settle with the Southern Hemisphere! But in 1700's they had a devastating EQ and TSUNAMI.
@salihoutasawwuf665 Жыл бұрын
Enki seemed wiser than giving credit as He realized if Adapa was gifted Immortality then imbalance would result. Also, if Adapa became Immortal then Marduk would have a contender as heir to Enki. I think Enki was more dialed in to the grand plan of the Universal One than most others. Further, having the foresight to leave a written account of events was pure brilliance.

@@Texasmade74 I can't exactly recall my line of thought with this comment because I didn't timestamp it and I don't have time to rewatch the entire video. But, I'm it was more nuanced than what you're giving me credit for. But just imagine if Disney's had made a version of Robinhood where Prince John and the Sheriff of Nottingham were the heroes and Robinhood and King Richard were the villains. Would anyone have accused Disney of stealing English ideas? In a sense they might, but they'd be missing the point completely and displaying a complete lack of understanding of the cultural contexts that each example came out of. In the same way, yes, the final form of the first 11 chapters of Genesis did take their final form during the Babylonian exile, but to state that they convey meanings similar to the cultural contexts they were speaking against is pure ignorance. For example, in the Babylonian mythology the gods created men to be slaves and only a few kings became images of their gods through the revelation of forbidden knowledge by rebel other gods. In Genesis all humanity were created as royal priest images of the Most High, and became slaves through the revelation of secret knowledge by a rebellious divine being. That's only one layer, but it's a huge difference.

For archelogists of the fourth millenium *AD* looking back on our civilization of today, imagine they find intact copies of the bible, the koran and other sacred texts and prescriptions of ritual... ... what would that tell them about us? The implicit assumption here is that atheism and its handmaiden: the systematic observation of nature, are strictly *modern* inventions. The ancients on the other hand *must* have been pickled in religious mysticism, unlike us today. This belief is of course an artifact of early archeological protocol, which was focused on proving the truth of early textual sources such as Homer and the bible. A tradition in dire need of discarding, down to its roots. By the way, the greatest ecological and climatological disaster that the human race has ever faced was NOT flooding. It was the desertification of the "green Sahara." No other human catastrophe since the last ice age comes close. Archeology's failure to acknowledge this is little short of scandalous. But of course the bible speaks of a great flood, not creeping desert.

Reminds one of the Adam myth in Genesis. Adam has a brush with immortality but chose to partake of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil which insured humanity's mortality.
@earlygenesistherevealedcos19822 жыл бұрын
Yes. Especially if you give up on the idea that Adam was the first man (which scripture doesn't really claim any way. It says he was the first man like Christ was the last man). You do that, and the ties between Adapa and Adam, and some of the other patriarchs in the Gen 5 genealogy with the Seven Sages, just leap out at you kzbin.info/www/bejne/aHWwoo2EaKmeatE

Shulgi was a female ruler. that's pretty cool.
@danfield60305 жыл бұрын
Matt Long ...Why is that cool ? I mean females have been total leaders / rulers / Emperesses for thousands of years !!!!!! Ancient China seems to have had a matrilineal system as well..and in more RECENT times they have had figures such as the Emperess Duwager ! Also, the Jews are matrilineal ! In archaeology , ancient homes (20,000 years ago )only had females buried there (in individual graves ) while the male were just thrown haphazardly on top of eachother in a communal "dump" far from any homes. This was a matrilineal society ....in the Middle East area I think. This idea that men have always been in charge is dead WRONG. Patriarchy was NOT the original state of human society. In matriarchal society , men cannot own property .....this is very ancient history. Stoneage history. Females had been placed carefully in ritualised graves while men were thrown in common dumps , all twisted and chaotic.

@8:20: Utuabzu, who went up to heaven. Sounds like: Enoch who did not die, for the God's took him (Genesis). There are so so many of these actual ancient texts which 'match' stories in the Hebrew Bible (although names are changed) as if at some point someone took it from being important texts kept sacred to being texts written only by Jews for the sake of their created identity in history.

The Gudea story reflects the sacrifices that Marduk wanted, not Horus or Thoth, so it's during the transition from followers of Horus to the sun-god's forced monotheism. This is part of the campaign that resulted in the creation of Israel and the eugenics program against the giants including king Og's 60 formerly-enclaved (by Enlil) cities of Bashan, who wanted no part of Marduk or Nimrod's invasion. The lost book of King Og is revealing to say the least. Seems Nimrod's Amun priests infiltrated the giants' temples and advised them to sacrifice all their women and children after four years of night frosts and drought.

The Flood/Deluge "myth" is not a myth. Humanity exists in cycles of roughly 12,000 years. It is called an Epoch or Holocene. There is scientific and mathematical proof which shows every 12 to 13,000 years is a cataclysmic event of some sort, and the cycles are linked to the cycles of the Sun. It is the year 2021 in the gregorian calendar, but it is the year 12,021 on the Holocene Human Epoch calendar. Mainstream, government, institutionalized, systematic schooling does not teach you this. Also, just read the damn news. We know that by 2030 there will be severe coastal flooding all around the globe. Wake TF up. Scripture from all around the world mentions it.

Yes your colleague will call you for embarrassing him. It seems self-evident the more primal meaning of the story is that Ea wants his son to take kingship over 'immortality,' and thus he would not then be punished for 'breaking the South wind.' By taking kingship, Adapa shalt have dominion over all (i.e. man shalt, er its kings) over all, including the Wind...and you also can't help but notice the Epic of Gilgamesh is essentially the reverse--i.e. there's a term for this...when one people take as holy what their enemy see as profane. Oh yeah by the way stop with this magical thinking stuff...it's more like the guy blasphemed by cursing a divinity for causing him destruction/harm, which to this day still is a no-no.
