Artist's Bio : Boshoco is Nihad Alabsi and Philippe Zarif - two musicians from Aleppo/Syria who produce and play various genres of house and techno, infused with eastern sounds.
Their music draws on their upbringings in Aleppo - an ancient crossroads where people and cultures have mingled for millennia.
Boshoco’s sound is made to bring joy through dance: the sublime natural high known in Arabic as "saltaneh".
EP info : "Tressé" means a bundle of three, three elements that are better together. This EP was produced after a long period of chaos, in a small city on the Mediterranean Sea where life is slow. With a slower life came slower music, full of the memories of the past surreal years and gazing into the future. To be listened in the order they were written and named: Awal (First), Tani (Second) and Talet (Third).
