BO1 is old even compared with SR1.... and maybe thats the reason why you and many more people found BO1 less interesting than SR1....... if we talk about need, BO1 needs a remake more than SR1, but if we talk about marketing obviusly SR1 is the best choice for the first remake of the saga and make money for future remakes thats for sure.

It's a mashup of the osts of Melchiah's area into a battle theme with a bit of added flair and emphasis on the boss theme, far as i can tell.

Cemetery is a rework of the necropolis OST from SR1

It's mixed with the Stone Glyph theme from Soul Reaver 1: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gKjLqoVnaricZpI The choice makes sense, since the location of the Stone Glyph was in Melchiah's territory, in the high mountains of Nupraptor's Retreat.
